The staff member on reception was friendly on arrival and departure.

Guests should be aware this motor inn houses social housing tenants. I did not enjoy checking in to people standing around in groups drinking and smoking with their dog. The unit itself was shocking, extremely poorly damaged and maintained and didn’t appear clean. Linen was stained. All security locks removed or non functional. Toilet/bathroom door would neither close fully or lock so remained open unless someone held it shut. Small wall heater on 1 hour timer that needed resetting all night to stay warm. Bathroom had no fan or extraction system working. Lights missing (no bulbs) and what appeared to be tissue or paper shoved into smoke detector or sprinkler system. I’d like to add more photos showing the condition but am limited to the 4 I have added.
