Room was cozy and the bed was comfortable enough. I had to rate the staff 1 star because there are no staff. I'm sure there are housekeepers because the property was clean. Hopefully the housekeepers are paid well as there's no desk agents on the payroll.

Great location and very clean and nice, but if there is anything happening at the nearby club, it is loud at night. Like, so loud there were complimentary ear plugs in the room. In other nights, it was absolutely perfect.

The location was fantastic, close to all of the shopping, eating and sightseeing, but also close enough to walk to the grocery store. The room is VERY tight quarters so being able to getting clothes in & out of suitcases/getting ready to go out or get into bed was a little rough.

Where do I start? I emailed the property (through Hotels.com and at [email protected]) asking if I could drop my luggage or check in at 2pm (check in was specified at 3pm). I never got a reply.
I checked in after 3pm, got my keycard and left my luggage in the room. I checked the room and there was mold in the shower, hairs on the floor, and in the nespresso machine, mug rings on the night table, and the shower leaking into the bathroom floor. I had to use the mat to mop up the water and avoid a mess on the floor.
The next day I left the room thinking that since this is a hotel, my room would be cleaned, the bed made, trash would be removed - all the proper housekeeping from a hotel. But no, I returned later and found the room unmade. I sent a WhatsApp message and left a voice message asking for clean towels, clean mugs. Their reply was that per their policy (nowhere described) they do not service the rooms on reservations of 3 days or more unless requested. Since it was after ours, nothing could be done at the time. They said they would make sure the room was serviced the next day and I would get the required items. Next day I sent a reminder message for towels, mat, mugs, glass, mold in the shower. I returned to the room later that afternoon to find the items I requested, BUT the bed unmade. I contacted them and was told as per their policy they do what guests request and nothing more! They pride on the location and nespresso machine but there's more to a good hotel

Having read some reviews I was hesitant to stay here. I usually look at the worst reviews and disregard most of them.
I really do not like to give bad reviews having some properties of my own. Unfortunately I cannot give this place a 5/5.
Pros: Clean ,central position and comfortable mattress.
Rooms were more than adequate in size.
Cons: Pillows were the worst I have come across. Another guest described them as logs and I do have to agree that this is 100% accurate.
The room was so hot it made it sleeping impossible. Even with the window wide open , heating off and the fan going the minimum temp was 23 degrees.
More than 2 coat hangers needed to travellers trying to dry washing

Location as central to food and music. Hotel was clean and staff were responsive to needs. It is a no frills room.
4.3
It's a great place. Very clean and quiet.
Couldn't get any channels on the TV. Had to use my own Netflix LogIn to use it.
The pillows were like hard, round logs. We had to go buy other pillows.
Otherwise, everything was great.

Easy to find, and there are a couple of car parks very close to choose from (the one directly opposite appears to be at the higher end of the prices for Galway though).
Check in was easy, via a screen. The rooms and hotel were clean and well kept, and there's a vending machine upstairs. The rooms looked and felt quite newly furnished/decorated.
There was a fan provided, appreciated as the room was very warm (August), there's no air con. Our room faced the front of the building, and although you could open the windows, it was very very noisy from the pub across the street. On Friday the music and karaoke went on until 1am, and was very loud even with the windows shut (which was uncomfortable because it was so warm). On Saturday it was quieter, but the location is still on a main road out of the city, near some nightclubs, so there were rowdy people outside until about 3am.
The rooms are clean and small, without anywhere to actually really PUT things except the floor, which was frustrating. It wasn't even possible to put a washbag in the bathroom as there isn't a shelf/space on the sink to do so. There's a coffee machine which took up half the small table space in the room, but no glasses for use for water. There are a few hangers provided for shirts, but nowhere to put your suitcase.
The plug sockets are behind the bedside tables, so you have to actually move the table out of the way to use them.
The bed was comfy, and the water pressure for the shower is great.

Convenient spot in the heart of Galway. My suggestion for improvement is to clearly post the explicit steps to get internet working and also how to work the shower- life is too short for these frustrations.
4.3
There was no front desk staff but the set up to get your key and into the building is seamless. Very clean, beds were super comfortable and quiet. I would highly recommend staying here. Walking distance to everything that you need!
4.3
Very close to things but be aware street noise is loud through 3 am. Parking can also be an issue
4.3
We found it very impersonal Very noisy at night Don't think we'll stay in the Townhouse again

Place was clean and in walking distance to the city centre. Temperature outside was 15 degrees but room was really really warm and you were unable to control the heat. When contacting the hotel they told us to turn on the fans and open the window however it was uncomfortably hot and stuffy in the room.

Great location, helpful manager, comfortable room

Convenient location and clean modern decor. Self-service check-in was a bit of a pain as had to enter each guest info separately into a machine. Bed mattress wasn’t very comfortable and would have preferred a king size. Needed a bath mat or extra towel to step on after shower as floor was slippery when wet. Bathroom and shower are tiny. No air conditioning but we were cool enough in June.
4.3
While a nice place to stay, the check-in was very difficult. There is no one nearby to help with check-in and the machine that provides you with a key was broken. At first, it didn't take the Expedia confirmation number. Then, when we got it to work by entering my name, the machine completely blacked out and shut down. It wouldn't turn back on.
I called someone who was eventually able to get my key card, but as I said there was no one on the property who could help. It was quite frustrating.

The booking number from Expedia didn’t work. We had to call locally and were given booking numbers not anything like we’d received from Expedia. Check in is at a kiosk requiring the booking number or full name on Expedia, the name didn’t work either. The rooms were great, just a little warm.

This was a clean, small, but efficient hotel. It is well located, we could walk to all we wanted to explore. The team, especially Liam, was very quick to respond to email communication, and assisted us with an early check in. We were even treated to an upgrade in room that became available during our stay.
I'd highly recommend this hotel!!!

We had a “snug” room. No chairs. Very small. Would not recommend for two people. No service unless you stay longer than three days, and we stayed for three. I guess fine for a certain sort of traveler who has no real baggage. All automated, so no lobby or people, just a kiosk to type your info and get a key card. Couldn’t get a 2nd one for my partner.

Very clean, comfortable, spacious enough for one night, contemporary but not cold design. Located across a public (paying) parking lot. Very close to pubs, stores, restaurants in city centre, but very quiet at night.
4.3
The hotel is very conveniently located and perfectly clean. The room I had unfortunately overlooked Newtownsmith Rd, which made it very noisy because of the bar across the road. Since the weather was warm, it was a battle between getting fresh air with the windows open and hearing the rowdy bar noise, or muffled noise and no air.
The set up in the bathroom was challenging, with no hooks/rails for towels, or shelves/surfaces to put toiletries in the bathroom itself. This combined with the noise would deter me from a longer stay.
But if you're a sound sleeper and looking for somewhere nice, clean, and convenient - this is a great place. Good value overall.

Everything about the hotel was almost perfect. It looks brand new and spotless. Decor and design are great. I love the bathroom and shower design and the room has everything you need. There is a small elevator. Be advised rooms are very very small; only enough to fit the bed, nightstands, and maybe 1-2 suitcases, but the stay was quiet and comfortable.
The worst part was check-in; there is no receptionist and there is a learning curve to the check in. Once we input our reservation number there was a message saying the room was not ready around 7 or 8 pm. We had to call the provided phone number around three times to get an answer from someone, sitting on the stairs waiting for a reboot and workaround, while the screen then froze and crashed.
I'm all for automation but there should be enough confidence that it's truly seamless.

It was a pleasant stay. Check in was a little cumbersome with the kiosk for the key. AAlso, the tv did not work. No channels, and it wouldnt connect to the internet.
4.3
Cute little room, an easy check in/check out process, excellent location.
4.3
Great location with easy access to walk, shop, explore and access tours to visit everything Galway has to offer. I’d recommend this location for short and long-term stays. Our friends only had difficulty sleeping, as their room was too hot and mattress too firm. There was a parking lot across the street but a bit costly at 20 Euro per day.

Beautiful apartment! Highly recommend!
4.3
Fabulous hotel and location, perfect for exploring and walking the city, close to pubs and restaurants and the dock. Self check-in so there was no interaction with staff. Only issue for me was the really large pillows which proved difficult for sleeping. I would definitely recommend!
4.3
Property was nice but you need more than a bed that takes up the whole room.
4.3
Self check in was easy and location was excellent. They never come to clean the room unless you stay 3+ nights but never mention that. There was not enough coffee, we washed our own mugs and run out of toilet paper. The room also gets really really hot even when cool outside. Window doesnt open more than an inch.
4.3
Room clean and newly renovated with very comfortable bed, but there was a reason for the ear buds laid out next to the coffee maker - the street cleaners and beer delivery trucks start quite early in the morning.
4.3
Super cute place with so much to do and see in close vicinity and the staff were very helpful.
4.3
Was a great hotel room to stay in. Staff was very accommodating and let us store bags before our check in time.
4.3
Really nice room, perfect location. Liam was great with communications. Check in and out was easy. Literally no issues! Rooms were just as shown.
4.3
Very pleased with the cleanliness and comfort of our room. Great location!!
4.3
It is a self check-in and check-out process. You interact with nobody. Property offers you a pretty basic room; nevertheless it’s conveniently located in the heart of Galway.
4.3
Great hotel in city center.
4.3
Great accommodation, lovely staff and within walking distance to everything

Room was very nice. Check-in was easy and Check-out even more. Saldy, the room was poorly soundproofed, which made one night a bit hard to get through. But overall I recommended it!
4.3
We were staying 5 nights to be close to hospital to visit a family member. Location was great for centre and hospital. Rooms very small but very clean and modern.
As we were not here to party the fact there was full sky stream tv service was a welcome surprise.
Only negative would be the room was not cleaned the full 5 days of our stay and we had to request replacement towels otherwise these would not have been rrplaced. If they got that right would ha e given fulll 5 starts.

Check in was simple and fast. The room was comfy and clean and the location was great. 5 min walk from almost everything in town. Perfect little hotel to explore galway
