The Mountain Air

Cabin smelled of urine. The smell was coming from the bathroom and the bed is right next to the bathroom door. Couldn't sleep because I had to smell urine the entire night. I had to buy a $20 scented candle while I was in town just to deal with the odor. Bathroom sink leaked everywhere, so we couldn't use it. A handyman came by, just shut the water off and left. Didn't actually fix anything. No Bathroom sink our entire stay. Wifi didn't work at all during our entire stay. Even though it was advertised. Cabin is located on top of an extremely steep hill, may be bad for your vehicle. Management is lazy, wishy washy and doesn't respond to messages. Called them and a clueless teenager answered. Rushed us and ignored most of our concerns. Decided to text them to see if they'd address our concerns. They told me they had wished we had contacted them earlier. We DID and got ignored. Asked for a partial refund and they just continued to ignore me. Had to call Booking.com customer service. Ignoring problems instead of actually fixing them. Coffee maker in the room but no coffee. Management wants you to wash your own dishes but doesn't provide a scrub brush. They want you to take out your own trash to another cabin down the hill. Why am I paying them to do housekeeping for them? The widows only have one thin sets of blinds which aren't solid and can easily be looked through from the outside, not providing Total privacy. Anyone can walk up to the window and see inside. Wild Animal poop around my car in the morning. Had to watch where I was stepping. Room is overpriced, Management is lazy and stupid, and the place stank real bad. Don't stay here. Get a hotel in town instead.

It was the cleanest cabin we have ever stayed in. Decorated very well and cozy! The heaters kept us warm. Easy to get to and super close to the heart of Helen.
