Front desk staff was very nice and accommodating at check in. The rooms are quite dated, but clean. It was convenient for pets. The breakfast selection was actually very good compared to newer hotels I have stayed at. Nice place, just dated. Fine for an overnight stay.

Well I’ve learned the BW name doesn’t mean anything in particular. I’m guessing they took over this motel at some point, which is very 1970’s in color and style. No issue with that but I do have issues with the misleading photos on their website.
The rooms are tiny, which is cozy for sleep but depressing to hang out in. The hotel carpeting could be fun, in its orange and brown and other colors flowing pattern, but is so dirty. The pattern can’t hide that it needed a deep professional carpet cleaning eons ago. And perhaps it’s the old carpet?, but all the public areas smelled like cigarette smoke even though it’s a non-smoking hotel.
The first room I was given was too traffic-noisy. I was able to get a quieter room at the back which they try to keep for pet rooms. It was delightfully quiet back there and the er, interesting way the rooms are laid out helps prevent other room noise. It’s not any cheaper than many other hotels in Flagstaff, so no excuses for the issues.
Breakfast was good with lots of choices. There’s a pool and jacuzzi but I didn’t use them.

Our stay was good. Comfortable clean rooms, building is older but things have been updated. Breakfast was hot and had plenty of choices, good coffee! Great location for the next day trip to Page. Would stay again

This is our 2nd time staying here and it was great for the family. The location was great and my boys love the indoor pool and hot tub. The breakfast was good as well. This is definitely a place we book whenever we are in Flagstaff.

Parking is not bad.The receptionists are friendly. The check in process is a breeze. I like the lobby. They need new hall and room carpets though. The walls are thin. I can hear every constant moves and bumps from the next room. I was able to sleep comfortably though. Our room door in 209 need some wd40 or some tightening of the screws. The room has the basic amenities, thanks for the hair shower cover and makeup remover. What I love most is the breakfast. It is amazing. I thought there'd be just donuts and coffee. The breakfast area is also spacious and relaxing.
There are a number of places to eat at around. Walmart is close too.
Overall, our 1 day stay was great. I can definitely stay there again.

It was nice and clean and quiet., I felt safe. Staff was excellent,Food was very good and I would recommend the Pony Soldier to anyone looking for a place to stay..

My Family enjoyed staying here . Very nice service . Breakfast staff was excellent. Really disappointed i didnt get the staff member in the breakfast launch that helped us ! Also checking in the gentleman that helped was very nice . I look forward going again . Everything was very closed by restaurants, grocery stores , when i asked for extra towels , they immediately took them to me .

We accidentally left a medical device at the hotel. The staff were efficient in returning it to us.

The pictures look spectacular, don't let that fool you, the beds were uncomfortable, walls are thin, cold hard floors, rooms are small, it smells, run down, and the sheets were not changed, we always stirp out beds and look for bed bugs and came across one of the mattress torn halfway down the side exposing the inside of a mattress, I couldn't get a refund, office staff were rude

We were upgraded to a suite which was so appreciated on our last night of an extended road trip. The room was wonderful. We arrived during a monsoon which was fun and wet. The property had an actual dog walk area with grass and bags - again, first time we’d seen and was a pleasant surprise. We were brining our new puppy home. My only complaints and they are minimal - the walls to the hallway are thin, you can hear everyone’s TV’s and we went to the office early on the morning we were leaving to ask for milk (30 minutes prior to the breakfast opening) and they weren’t helpful. Granted it’s a little thing but given they had an entire coffee set up in the check-in area how hard could it be. Overall, excellent and a nice way to finish off our road trip.
