Fab hotel with a 5 minute walk to universal.

We stayed here for two nights with our two children and it was fabulous. We made the most of express passes and early entry to enjoy the parks butoves being able to pop back and use the gorgeous pool. The staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for us. Highly recommended.

My daughter’s clothes, room pass card, and money were stolen from her sun lounger. Bearing in mind there were no sign posted lockers or any visible. You need to take your room key with you as it gives you access into the pool area. 3 members of staff I spoke to about helping me locate it and none were helpful at all. In fact the manger was down right rude. The guy on reception when I went back the following morning to see if the items had been handed in said. “ you know times are hard nowadays. People will take opportunity’s to take stuff, you win some you lose some “. Absolutely disgusting!! Bearing in mind she had just spent $27 on the lanyard and holder to hold her pass as you need the room key card to access all your park extras so not only did she lose her belongings and her money she lost them I eh she also spent on the items. I will not stay here again. The hotel is beautiful but if you look closer the carpets are stained and dirty.

We loved this hotel. Very convenient to Universal parks by 3 minute walk or water taxi. Also the complementary express pass to the parks was a great bonus. Staff was very friendly. Hotel was very clean.

We usually love our stay at Hard Rock but this was a little disappointing. We requested a quiet room, however we were put in a room directly above the big air conditioning units which ran all night. We could sleep with ear plugs in, so didnt request to move but having requested a quiet room we were a little surprised! The room itself was also a bit tired looking and shabby which again is unusual for Hard Rock.

Our stay was great as usual until the dogs down the hallway started barking against one another like a barking war. When we checked in we were told that if we wanted a first level room that it was ready now. This being 8:30am on check in day. So we said absolutely so we had a place to rest halfway through the day. Come to find out, the first floor is the pet floor. First issue, when we checked in, and my wife was told about the room availability, we were never informed that the first floor was the dog floor. Second, if we would’ve known that the first floor was a pet floor. We would’ve never opted into getting into our room early because my wife and I have severe pet allergies. After a very unrestful night of sleep, my wife and I decided to check out early, and just park our car back over at the garage cause we didn’t want nothing to do with the hotel since they fell to tell us that we were on the pet floor. We have stayed here before and have never had an issue. However, when you go to check into a hotel , if there is a pet floor, there should be a right to know for the customer while checking in. Because of my wife’s allergies, she was not able to sleep at all that night. Therefore, we had a very expensive TV to watch and that was it. the manager addressed in the morning and things were taking care of other ways. Hard Rock is a great hotel because of the pool, the environment, and the food at the resort. However, not being told about the pet floor was inexcusable.

Loved the experience but such a trek with cases to the car in the self park areas - we just wanted to pack everything into the car and head to the parks.

Absolutely excellent place to go with or without kids! Staff is more than friendly and courteous . Everything is clean. And service is prompt. The only thing that is so small to me but may affect someone else differently is our phone in the room didn’t work a few times I thought to order room service but couldn’t because the line was not functioning. Like I said a very small thing to me didn’t matter we just went out to eat instead. Other a phenomenal experience!!

Staff were brilliant from the moment we stepped in the front door, could not have been more helpful. The hotel was pristine and it was a pleasure to stay there. I will certainly be back.

Great hotel with helpful staff. Location is excellent for the Universal Parks (short walk/boat ride). Pool area is fun with activities during the day - not really for swimming but chilling and cooling down with a fun slide too.

Obviously the main benefit of staying here was the universal express passes but without those the room would not justify the high cost. Had an issue with a charge on our account after we had checkednout, but was soon rectified after i contacted them to query it. Spent a couple of hours at the pool which was really nice, with entertainment and quizzes being provided by the pool DJ

An amazing hotel, brilliant location, great atmosphere, good bars and restaurants

Fab stay but slightly annoying that we booked a room for 5 people then get charged $35 per night for a bed for our 5th family member.

great hotel, convenient for universal great boat shuttle to city walk and parks, swimming pool was great. food pricey and so was hotel night, only stayed one night to get express passes this worked well for us.
