We were given a tiny room on the ground floor next to reception - it really should have been a single. The room was tired and not very welcoming - there was laminate missing from the tea / coffee making area, the door frame in the bathroom was so rotten at the bottom, the hinge was barely attached. The icing on the cake was the lack of hot water in the shower - it was a bank holiday in France, the hotel had no alternative rooms and the Busby they proposed to move us to had awful reviews. We stayed the night ( enduring the tepid water) and found an alternative for the second night of our stay. To be fair, the staff were polite and helpful and offered a room reduction for the nigh we stayed.

The location of this hotel is great, just a few block from the beach and lots of places nearby to eat. The staff were very nice as well!

This is such a cute place! Very close to the waterfront, walkable to restaurants, and an easy walk to the train station.
The beds were comfortable and I loved we could open the ‘terrace’ doors to let fresh air come in. There was A/C, and a cute courtyard with places to sit and enjoy.

We showed up to check in and were told that we couldn’t stay at the hotel after all and they had booked us a room at a different hotel. The new hotel wasn’t nearly as charming and was in a part of town that we weren’t as interested in staying in. We were disappointed.

Our room was on the lower floor (ground level), there was mold in the bathroom, and the shower was leaking. The staff themselves were very pleasant, and I am grateful to them for their work! However, the conditions of the hotel leave much to be desired; it is dirty, moldy, and the furniture in the room is old and emits an odor.
