I stay at this hotel about 20 nights a year. This will be the last time. I accidentally booked the wrong night. Any decent hotel would credit that night to the next stay. But not here. I have been told by the staff I stay here more than any other customer.
No free breakfast EVER no aporeciation of any kind. So they kept my money and not only that but I needed a lays checkout snd they refused that as well.
I calculate I spend over $2000 USD per year here. It is not the nicest hotel in Nairobi, but it is ok. The restaurant is really bad. Do not get the buffet breakfast. It is not good.
I have stayed here a lot so it is clearly in my opinion a good price for the experience. Until you need someone in their hidden management group to take care of a problem.
I give it the worst rating possible due to the extreamly poor management. Not due to the staff. They try hard and apologize for their idiot bosses.
But those bosses are never willing to talk to a customer. And again I am their most frequent customer. So I’m sure if anything ever goes wrong with your trip they will not help you an any way.
Also be sure to book here with Hotels.com if you come it is about 30% less than booking direct.
Have a nice time in Kenya. But if you might want to try a different hotel.

At the price point which I paid. This is great value for the money. This is the second time I stayed at this hotel. Will stay there again. The stafg are pleasant and nice. Again, anyone that complains about this hotel needs to book a $250 night hotel which will meet their needs. You can expect to stay at a three-star hotel and get a five-star accommodation.

Honestly, we didn’t stay long enough to have a comprehensive experience, they would allow us to make a detail review. Which is stayed for one night, and everything about it was great and convenient.

I am giving a bad review for this hotel that I've stayed at multiple times in the past year. This time round I had a very clean and prepared room, with a used condom on the floor. I then got put into a room that had no water.
Following that, I tried to reduce my stay due to a fluctuation in my itinerary and while the staff were great they had no ability from management whom I never saw once, and proceeded to charge me the full amount.
Absolutely despicable management. Won't ever return.

Very good hotel with an excellent breakfast. The area was fine but I would walk around at night. The restaurant was also good if you don't order the steak.
The only complaint that I had was that there was no hot water. It was like warm.

The hotel is in a nice area, Westland but the seems not very well maintained.
The wifi was quite slow and the shower hose had limescale and the water rums on the side.

this is the 4th time I and my small 501c medical team has stayed here. Its been 4 years and unfortunately, although hotel is clean, a lot of general upkeep has not been maintained. for instance broken window locks, deteriorating shower door gaskets, soap scum at bottom of shower glass( could easily be removed with a razor scraper) Some room refrigerators work some do not. The staff is great, the breakfast buffet is very good, the rooftop restaurant, bar is a plus although sometimes service is a bit slow. Minor point but The Nation or the Standard in the lobby news rack would be nice. Probably will stay here again.

Our room was a very long way from reception and quite complicated to get to (2 elevators and numerous corridors). We got used to this though, however and did not request a room change.
Pros:
*Staff were friendly and helpful
*Room was big, air-conditioned and kept clean enough
*Location was close to everything you need in westlands
Cons
*Hotel felt neglected and tired
*Food was not great - breakfast was very underwhelming and on our last day we actually went out to eat so we didn’t have to eat the breakfast.
*laundry service does not run on Mondays…we arrived back from safari on Sunday night and wanted desperately to have our clothes washed however couldn’t until Tuesday morning, having them returned early Wednesday morning.
All in all we had a fine stay at Le Maison but probably wouldn’t return.

The bathroom is disgustingly dirty and the room in general was dusty checked in late was too tired to go look elsewhere.
