This hotel was designed, sounds daft, but design was everywhere, stark, monumental, impressive, I liked it. But it lacked a few human touches. Some hotels encourage local arts into their space, this one didn't, I like to bring home the hotel note pad and pen as a reminder but the rooms were spartan and impersonal, although our accommodation was of excellent size. We rarely got a pool sunlounger as they pool area was too small for the size of the hotel, which was half empty when we were there. The worst aspect was the food, mostly bland, overcooked, poor choise, esp of fish in the mornings. Good fish choice in the evenings but everything mostly barely warm. The maids were excellent the serving staff mixed, organisation was a little chaotic at times and the hotel was not full. I couldn't pick our any staff for criticism its as if they have not got into their stride yet.

If you want a beautiful, quiet, clean hotel on the beach, you cannot get any better than Plus Fariones Suite Hotel. The suites are spacious. Rooms cleaned everyday. Hotel has a restful ambiance and is very quiet given the number of residents. Staff were very friendly and answered all our queries knowledgeably.

nice break, the cost for what we got was a little pricey, we stayed on the 5th floor where Wi-Fi is non existent

Room was lovely and spacious , walk in shower , bathrobes and slippers. Lounge area with TV and channels in various languages including the main English channels. Fabulous choice at breakfast and very clean and new throughout the hotel.

4 star hotel. Very nice although no aircon in the hotel outside your room, so corridors/reception very warm. Nice looking hotel. Room was lovely, very clean. Sea view as booked. I enjoyed our stay however its unfinished. Very noisy as work going on. I was told noise from 10-6. The noise started 9-sometimes till 7.30. I dont nap through the day but i think people need to be warned of this. My husband asked where the gym was and it doesnt exist.. room was full of bugs, most likely from the work. The breakfast delicious, lots of choice, however the service was awful, moved from two tables we were sat as someone was already sitting in them. Then no cutlery and waiters just not paying attention, sat for ages waiting and breakfast went cold. Entertainment was good but service again awful, confusion seemed to reign and there was no organisation, we sat for ages and my husband had to go to the bar for drinks. Loads of waiters but lacking direction. This happened 3 times during our stay. Maid service good but, one morning I returned from breakfast and wished to use the toilet and the maid told me to come back, I understand she has a job todo but I have a condition, she didnt understand and was adamant she was finishing the room, I did wait but think if the customer wants in the room they should respect that and leave. The hotel lovely but so many issues. We stayed in a 4 star 5 days before this one with no issues.

Also no air conditioning on in hotel we were informed until April, as it was unseasonally hot bit stuffy at night. Would def stay again but only in Suite. Right on beach right by shops old town beach etc great location.

The hotel room was dark and small with no natural light and very dim bulbs, it was impossible to get ready in there and the darkness of the room gave me a head ache. The smell of cigarettes came through into our bedroom from either next door or below us so we couldn’t sleep in there with our 10 month old baby. We instead slept on the floor of the living area. Excellent so close to swimming pool and beach. Supermarket on property. We on lst floor so that was fab. Couldn't fault anything.

Room was very nice and clean. Some of the staff at the reception and the dining room were quite abrupt. Clearly they had priorities that didn’t not involve the guests queries and were quite happy you should wait until they were good and ready to acknowledge you. Not all were of course but enough do that that is what I remember. At the rate you pay I think you can expect a little courtesy. Breakfast was really nice and a wonderful selection.

The room was good,although the extractor fan in the bathroom appeared not to work. Spacious suite wth lovely bathroom and comfortable bed.Good separate living area. Nice balcony,let down by cheap metal table and uncomfortable chairs. Restaurant served standard buffet food for both breakfast and dinner.Unless cooked while you waited,most of the hot food under the heat lamps was generally lukewarm! Tables very close together and more especially at breakfast,people were getting in each other’s way. It would help if the restaurant staff smiled a bit more! The area around the pool again could be busy and it was the same old story of people getting there early and putting their towels on the sunloungers,and then hardly using them! In a hotel leaflet,it said that staff would remove towels if the sunloungers weren’t being used,but as usual,nothing was ever done. The location to the beach and the town is great. We weren’t affected by the building work on the hotel next door,but I gather that if your room was that side of the hotel,you might be. The internet connection at the hotel was awful.It was totally hit and miss wether it was working.I think we reported the problem at least three times but it was potluck as to when it worked. We ended up going to local bars etc just to use their WiFi. Drinks at the hotel are reasonably priced,but there is a lot of competition from bars/restaurants within close proximity Overall though,an overpriced hotel!Will not stay again!

Good facilities, good pool areas, right on the beach and in perfect location. A great stay all round.
