For a four star hotel I was slightly dissatisfied. The hotel is showing its age in places, not a big issue, but there were 2 glasses for water in our room, one was chipped and the other dirty. I asked for some ice and wine glasses at 7pm and was unable to have either due to no one at the bar and reception staff unable to assist. Eventually at 8.20pm they were offered but we were going out.

To be woken by a fire alarm is never good, but then for it to keep going off several times ruined our stay. Obviously there was no fire thankfully just a computer glitch… Then there was no hot water… Explained as a computer glitch..

Wonderful hotel literally in the heart of the cathedral area / square - perfect! Parking was a little hard to find but once you’re familiar with the restricted road layouts it wasn’t too bad!

I never write reviews but this hotel is the worst thing you can reserve in Porto, believe me there are plenty of much better options in this price range in the area

The best location ever!!! You open the windows of your room and you are in the most beautiful church, One of the main attraction of Salamanca...In general Salamanca was a big surprise...For me it was one of the most beautiful citys in Europe

I stayed here as part of a business trip. The hotel is beautiful and located close to historical sites and restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed in a room with a patio overlooking the cathedral. It really was as beautiful as in the hotel pictures. The hotel needs dome updates but overall it was still fantastic and was so convenient for getting to most everything a traveller would want.

Wonderful location in the heart of Salamanca with great views of the cathedral.All key tourist attractions are within walking distance.Our room was spacious and well-furnished. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Overall, this is a very comfortable hotel with helpful staff.

Wonderful location in the historic center. Close to all the interesting sites to visit. And next to the famous cathedral.
Parking was safe and convenient but quite expensive. Everywhere in the historic center parking was expensive so this was the best option.

There are few hotels in the world that offer as beautiful of views from one's room as the cathedral side balcony rooms of this Sercotel Puerta de la Catedral. I've stayed there 3 times, and even love waking up in the middle of the night to see the cathedral illuminated. Magical.

Rooms comfortable,and the staff courteous and helpful. The tub rim was high and the shower a bit slippery, we are senior citizens and they should think about putting a handle to hold on to. Great location but parking a bit difficult to find.
