Very intoxicated man in the reception, nearly dont able to walk, screaming . Unstable. Not the best welcome. They should have taken him away/called the police to do so. Not safe with children. Hard beds, lot of noise from train. Bathroom mold in the shower and not good washed. Breakfast ok.

The room was nice, it was clean and the beds was comfortable, you can hear the trains so it can get noisy, but I knew that and expected it to be noisy (so I didn't mind). The breakfast was nice. The only downfall and the reason why I gave it 4 stars was for parking. There isnt enough for the hotel, maybe 10 spaces for 100 rooms. So prepare yourself that parking is limited and parking around the back is usually taken up by people not using the hotel. Staff was lovely and helped out with anything needed. Overall hotel was perfect but parking is very limited

The room was nice, it was clean and the beds was comfortable, you can hear the trains so it can get noisy, but I knew that and expected it to be noisy (so I didn't mind). The breakfast was nice. I'm writting this review 3 months after our stay. The room was ok and the hotel was well located. However I filed a complaint because during our stay there were several power outages, which caused a lot of inconveniences: no breakfast served that was paid for with the room, no possibility to dry hair, charge phones... not to mention that we were on the sixth floor and traveling with children (stroller). Among other things, the time spent finding a place for breakfast made us miss the transport and arrive late for one of the visits booked and paid for. To this day, I have not received any response from the hotel, not even an apology ...

Great hotel for visiting Warner Bros The making of Harry Potter. Close to Watford Station and Bus pick up for getting to the studios. Hotel staff friendly, rooms basic but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and great selection of hot/cold options. Baggage storage for whilst we were out and about. Great stay. Please note, the dark street to get to the hotel from the station. Our Train was delayed and hotel have 24/7 reception but the street from station to hotel was very dark and quiet at 1am. But I was travelling with friend, probably wouldn't have walked down it alone.

Stayed for 2 nights with my daughter in August to attend the Taylor Swift concert. Convenient location, hotel parking available at £7 per day, train station is 2 minute walk away from hotel. Clean hotel, everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. This is our second stay in this hotel to attend a concert and would definitely book again.

The common areas and the staff were all excellent, but the rooms were very dirty, especially in the carpets on the hallways. There was a lot of street noise, even though we were on the top floor. The area around the hotel was extremely unsafe almost looking like a back alley.

The hotel was lovely but hotels.com mis sold the room on the booking it said two double beds and I double sofa bed. This was not the case it was a double bed and double sofa bed.

Nice, very convenient hotel. Excellent breakfast spread. Let down a little by the housekeeping - no soap in the dispenser and no glasses.

Sink leaking. Walk in shower not well designed - water going all over the floor and towards toilet - health hazard. This is the third time we have stayed in a holiday inn express at different locations and each time the sink has been leaking!!!

Wonderful location! convenient for going to London or other place. Discount car parking also good for car drivers

Room was fine, clean, air conditioning did not work and was very noisy so turned it off, had the window open so all ok. Breakfast buffet was good, plenty of choice.

Stayed hear after Bruce Springsteen concert at Wembley Stadium. Room was spotless, check-in was easy and the girl is right next to Watford Junction. Breakfast is included. Lots of choice but small plates. Good taste really good. Hash browns were super crispy. "Air con" is so loud. We ended up turning it off and opening the window. This wasn't much better as right next to West Coast Main Line. Still managed to get a decent sleep. Would recommend to anybody going to Wembley or concert in London and need something convenient for the night.
