We initially thought we were staying at the other Alpine in town but was very wrong. After going to the correct place, I quickly realized that I was not a fan of the Inn although I do see the effort by the owners; still lots of work to that needs to be done. The outside was decorated cute & there was plenty of food & entertainment options within walking distance. I did not feel comfortable in our room due to it being dirty, outdated & in need of proper repairs. The bed was comfortable however we did not get under the covers. I was too grossed out by the environment.

Functional enough. Bed was comfortable enough and the plumbing worked. If that's all you are looking for, it's okay. To say it was dark and drab is understating it. They had required $100 deposit for damages. My question is, how would they know?

This was definitely not 5 star. No room service. The room never was cleaned during our stay. We had to ask for more clean towels and wash cloths. The room was ok, needed a deep clean.

The gentleman at the counter when we arrived after 10pm was very courteous and professional. We would definitely stay here again if we want a cheap stay in this area. But you should know that it is a much older property. The bed and pillows were comfortable and our room was fairly clean. Like many other places in this community, there does not seem to be a focus on remodeling or professional maintenance (walls are patched in a shoddy way and the plumbing was on its last leg.) But there was nothing that made it a bad or uncomfortable stay. Just keep in mind that this is an older place that is not in the best repair. Get a good price and you should be OK.

The room was renovated and very nice. Great for 2 nights and an easy walk to everything in Helen.

Check in was great! Upfront person was friendly and accommodating! The room was clean, the bed comfortable. About a 6-15 minute walk depending on what part of Helen you are going to.

The room was old nasty not well kept had mold on the shower curtain toilet paper dispenser came out completely ceiling was cracked sheetrock wasn't fixed properly will never ever stay there again.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff is very nice especially Raj! Great location! Would definitely recommend!

Rooms need updating, toilet was dirty, no hangers to hang up clothes, TV streaming needs updating, peeling paint, two small tables in breakfast room, old upholstered chairs sitting outside of rooms, property is rundown. Disappointed for the cost of the room. $100 deposit is extremely high for this place.

Even though the floors in our room were updated, the rest of the room needed some work. The bathtub was very stained and needed to be replaced. The bed, however, was very comfortable. Room was very damp and seemed to have some mildew on the walls. Probably would not stay there again.

I've stayed there multiple times and always the owner and staff have been very kind and accommodating no problems with the room other than it is a little older hotel but it's affordable for me

The property has controlled parking (plus). The continental bfast is just that. Not a bad thing. Don’t expect eggs and waffles. The room was clean and actually had a ceiling fan. Smoking is allowed on the premises including outside of the rooms. I didn’t like that because the smell would come in through vents and other places. All rooms face the parking lot and loud vehicles such as motorcycles and large trucks could be heard. I don’t mind this, but when you are sitting there idle for ten minutes it can be a nuisance. Overall I would recommend this property if you are not picky, I am not, just wrote this so people would be in the know and what to expect.
