I would not recommend staying here, IT IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY. Considering you have to get a shuttle bus from the airport, you may as well travel slightly further and have a nicer hotel. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable. The air conditioning didn’t work so the room was boiling (when we complained we were told that the whole building was set to HEAT so we couldn’t have COLD). 24 hour room service stopped at 10pm. Whole place is dated and needs a re-vamp. Service and people were great, and breakfast was fine.

Convenient airport hotel. This hotel is a 2 star compared to developed Western equivalent. The reception staff here are terrible, especially Daniel. He left me standing in reception for over twenty minutes waiting to check in. I was the only customer in line. He did serve a Bulgarian speaking local who arrived later and pushed in line. Other reception staff were just as inattentive and useless during my stay. But such is the general service in Bulgaria, ride and unfriendly.

I was charged by expedia for a room for 2 days before my family of four had a departure flight out of Sofia. When checking in the hotel staff could not check us in for an hour at 3pm in the afternoon due to their IT systems being down yet they told me that I had only a reservation for a room that sleeps a single person. I was tired from traveling from early in the morning so I accepted being pushed and overcharged for an apartment room which could afford to sleep 4 people. I was forced to pay an additional 100 Euros or 200 Leva which I paid in CASH. I was not given a receipt right away as I had to hunted in down for 2 days since the hotel computer terminals were down yet their were not down to force overcharge me for a room that could sleep a family of four....needless to state the obvious it felt wrong and like a scam to overcharge their customers. I had stayed in the hotel before in my last visit to Sofia back 8 years ago last time and first time back in 2014 and I saw that the hotel had had no renovation updates to their rooms. The carpet is dated, tired, abused and dirty so is the hotel furniture. The bed in the bedroom apartment can only sleep 2 people and was very uncomfortable and noisy. The other bed we used in the living room sofa which opened to a bed where my 2 sons slept and it was a full size mattress bed which felt like a boat and very rough and uncomfortable. I booked a room for my wife and her female colleague. I booked the shuttle via the chatbot and entered the flight number. At arrival at the airport.... no shuttle. Wait and wait, nothing. So I called the hotel for them, and the receptionist said there was no shuttle booked and they would send it now. So I advised my wife to ensure she books the Shuttle upon arrival at the hotel, which she did. The next morning, they went to reception early to take the shuttle, and the receptionist said that they had missed it... "but we're here early" rude receptionist: "well it's gone, but I ordered you a taxi". Wife: "how did you know we needed a taxi?" "well I ordered it and it's here now.". The taxi driver took them through some dusty fields and starts shouting and demanding cash in LEV... when my wife said we didn't have LEV he said he was going to leave them there in the middle of nowhere. So he forced them to go to an ATM and one drew money for them, while one had to stay in the taxi. Thank god the taxi driver was just extorting the women, and nothing more sinister! Then he deliberately took them to T2 when they were flying from T1, and started shouting at them to get out. Immediately another dodgy-looking taxi driver walked up and said "I will take to terminal 1".... again the same thing happened and he started shouting for them to give him money. They arrived LATE at T1 after being extorted twice and WizzAir of course bumped them off their flight! A truly horrible experience!!

Very convenient location close to airport. In case when you need to stay overnight before flight - perfect place. Breakfast was excellent, eggs, meats, salmon etc.

The hotel is located relative far and isolated from airport and one needs a shuttle or expensive taxi (there are no Bolts or Uebers in Bulgaria) to reach the Airport: so don't see this as a time saving option, but could be at very early departures, when there is no Metro/subway running. Walking from hotel to Airport [with suitcases] is not the (10 or 12 minutes) option! The metro or taxi from the city center or vincinity is (more) convenient. Another point of attention. We arrived at 21.30 and the restaurant/cantine? was closing, no longer serving (heated up?) meals, instead we were offered; a cold, soft, sticky to teeth white bread junkfood sandwich from an expensive vendingmachine. The bar was a minimum on atmosphere. The breakfast typical american, enough, but soft and tasteless. Many pilots, some business people,..as such, a minimum on human interaction. Don't recommend it for young adventorous and with kids. The night staff is not the source of help you expect in emergencies. The manager comes only in at 11.00 AM. The wide open environment between the industrial like buildings despite is quite large andopen, with bushes and trees, .AND .there are beautifull large herds with cows and (wild?) horses. A pleasure to see (nature), in a depressingly created (stamped out americanized franchised business world) and ACCEPTED by non inspiring guests.

The staff were friendly and highly professional. The room was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.
