Always a joy staying at Tru by Hilton. Only hotel we reside at when we are in Charleston. Never disappoints!

Beautiful hotel. The staff was friendly, patient and accommodating. There was a nice variety for breakfast. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms and hotel itself was extremely clean.

Only problem was they sent us to the room and the maid hadn’t been there and she was nowhere to be found. Once she was found, the girl did a phenomenal job handling the situation !!!! She was able to let the maid know what she did wrong in a very professional way - even though she had to use an app to communicate ( which I think they should hire people who SPEAK ENGLISH) !!!!

The staff here is very helpful and knowledgeable. All were cheerful and responsive. The facility needs to be remodeled. Room lighting is unacceptable. Can't find on/off switches for several of the lights and must simply unplug or plug them in at the receptacles. My room was spartan.

staff was super nice and helpful! lobby was super clean and bright. this was our first time staying at this part of the hilton chain, and we loved it.
upstairs neighbors were a little noisy but that was fine. everything was super clean and the room was a perfect size for 2! location of hotel is also convenient to restaurants/quick food. we would definitely stay at this location again.

This property was great! I would have given it 5 stars, but we were booked for 5 nights and they checked us out after 2 nights because our room wasn’t messy and they thought we checked out. Instead, they could have called us or something else. If our room was paid for 5 nights, it’s not up to the hotel to check us out.

Everything is Amazing, but dont count on their watered down coffee or breakfast, breakfast always a line around the slow moving pancake machine and very little items to choose from

Poolside rooms will enjoy quite a lot of noise before 10p. Hallway noise, combined with AC noise, makes for a rough night sleep the rest of the night.
Breakfast was pretty bad, cold scrambled (powdered) eggs and stale bagels. And that was right when they opened up for breakfast. Won’t be going back for seconds.
