The hillside location above Akureyri was fabulous - a great view along the fjord to the town on one side and the countryside of Iceland on the other. The host was very helpful with travel information. Breakfast was included and it was lovely

Clean, flawless room. Simple breakfast. A bit far from the city.
Very expensive for what you get. But that’s island nowadays…it’s nothing special, except the view is great.

Lovely location high on a hill overlooking Akureyri. The gentleman on reception appeared to speak limited English but was friendly enough. The room was large, clean, adequate bathroom. Breakfast was included in the tariff but limited.
I would rate this place as a guesthouse rather than a hotel. There was no internal stairs and you had to walk around the outside of the building (in the rain) to reach reception and the breakfast room.

Room was spacious and the view was unbelievable! I mean, just spectacular. We loved the huge picture window and having a balcony to take panoramic pics was wonderful. Short (5min) drive to the town, and the reception folks were wonderful. We had a delightful stay!

View from the hotel room was great. Breakfast spread was impressive. Parking was very convenient. Easy access to Akureyri via car. Room and bathroom were nice, as expected.

The owner was quick and quite kind. The property itself was much larger than expected and very quiet and the view of the city from our room at night was beautiful. The beds were some of the comfiest we had experience in all of Iceland. The breakfast was very nice with a decent amount of selection for a small hotel. Overall a must stay. We will be coming back next year!
