Sunny, our host, was very nice and accommodating. She went over and above our needs when we had a special request. Breakfast was tasty and a good-sized portion that gets you through the day.

We would have liked body lotion and shampoo and conditioner instead of just shampoo. Other than that, everything was perfect.

It’s clean and organized, very hot water and a comfy big bed. there is a warm atmosphere, I felt i was visiting a friend’s home :)

We loved our short stay at Sunny’s Strathaird Bed & Breakfast in Niagara Falls. The B&B is a short 3 minute drive to the falls or a 20 minute walk. We received a text and an email from Sunny shortly before 3pm saying our room was ready and we could come any time. We had the blue room (#1) which overlooks Sunny’s beautiful old trees! The bed was comfortable enough. Our room was equipped with a small bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower. Parking is reached from the side street and is located behind the house. Our room did not have a tv which was a refreshing twist to the evening!

For us, the pillows were not as we preferred them, they were very soft and thin.

bathroom was alittle small, but given the room size it was not a big deal or a deal breaker by any means

Nice location, it was quiet, Sunny has everything well laid out, it was nice to be in the living room in the evening.

A bit cool in the room, but we did put on the heater.

Due to bad weather, my wife and I were unable to make our original reserved date. Sunny was kind enough to ignore the no-refund policy and give us a raincheck for the following weekend. The first night went well despite our room (#5) being cold. A note on the oil filled heater asked guests not to turn the three position control above one. We weren't sure if this was to conserve hydro, or to prevent a fuse being blown. The second night was somehow warmer, but our room was VERY noisy due to a plumber who was repairing a bathroom leak that had developed in an upstairs room during the morning. We could hear sawing, conversation, phone calls, and the seemingly endless sliding and shutting of the hosts glass door located along one of our walls. This went on until roughly 12:30 AM. Despite turning in at 10 PM, We were finally able to fall asleep at 1 AM. It was very frustrating. Positives were a super friendly host, comfortable bed, solid breakfast, great price, off-street parking, and good location.

Negatives were a noisy room with a door to the kitchen that cannot be locked, the world's smallest shower, a lack of place to put a suitcase other than the floor, poor bathroom lighting (we temporarily moved two bulbs from a corner lamp to the three bulb fixture in the bathroom), and no television in room. I'm not sure our Saturday night experience is typical. Sunny didn't say anything during breakfast about the noise being anything out of the ordinary. Regardless, I would avoid room #5.

We had a pleasant stay, is at 5 min drive to Niagara Falls or 20 minute walk, it doesn’t have a view to the falls, but if you’re just looking for a comfortable place in town and close to attractions this is a great option. Personnel was really kind.

Rooms are not soundproof so you can hear whatever happens in other rooms. No shower after 11 pm.

Quiet convenient location, friendly welcome, comfortable common lounge and access to kitchen. Nice breakfast.

Booking.com described the room as having an ensuite. That wasn't the case as the bathroom was outside the room not adjoining it. I think this description should be corrected. Small bathroom and shower.

The hostess was friendly and helpful. The common area with the TV was comfortable. The room was lovely. The bathroom was small, but not much can be done about this, as there is only so much space in the home. The breakfast was tasty and beautifully (artistically presented). Location was good, as we were downtown in approx. 15-25 minutes walking.

Absolutely adorable b@b that is close walking distance to all the area has to offer great value with free parking. Host was great at communicating. Would recommend to anyone ..couldn't have had a happier stay .thank you

Bigger shower but it did not spoil our stay

The exterior of the property needs some attention. There were outdoor sitting areas but the condition of the chairs etc was poor.

The place was comfortable and Sunny, the host was very nice.

No wardrobe, and only 2 drawers which were bedside table drawers so had to leave most clothes in the suitcase. Would have been difficult had you been there for more than one night. The breakfast was a bit strange but adequate.
