The room was very roomy, and we used the living room area as a separate room for some of the family (we had a young baby). The staff was very friendly. It was a great experience and we will be back! The pool was also very clean and great to get into during this awful heat.
The room had some old socks on the side of the bed the weren't ours so that was a bit unnerving. Some of the controls for the bathrooms amenities were finicky and could either use an update or at the very least, a good fixing. We got breakfast tickets for the Cafe next door, the food was good but the woman working there was very rude.

***My family of five which includes three kids stayed one night at this location. After looking at reviews we decided to get breakfast at the restaurant . BEWARE...****
Once I entered the restaurant it wasn't so welcoming...no greeting just a your over there...a little rude at that point. As we begin to sit the host / server starts mouthing off that we called her the B@#*h, Mind you we have a Autistic son and two girls that are apart of all this. We are dumb found that we are kicked and pushed out the door literally after that accusation. At this point the cook is charging at us , with staff holding him back. It was crazy, everyone in the restaurant was watching and my kids are scared starting to crying. Talk about a way to start your morning.
As we leave the cook still is charging yelling at us calling is names like chomo and saying random things. it was a nightmare. I called the police.
Please beware this was the worst experience I've encountered with my children. I was just passing through.

Staff at the hotel was pleasant. Location was good but no attractions or restaurants were walkable.
Overall property has a worn down look. The cook to order breakfast that was so much advertised, was a disappointment. Options were limited with no omlettes. The fruit and yougurt with garnola was like a kid's meal. There was only one server and she was stressed out - did not "have time" for coffee refills despite asking for it 3-4 times. The bar no longer has a liquor licence.

Cooked to order breakfast
Run down. Broken hot tub/pool heater & was NOT informed of it being broken when I asked about it (I chose this hotel specifically for the pool & hot tub). Shower dripped constantly. Very noisy heating/cooling unit. Door to toilet got locked in the night & front desk would not unlock it. Didn’t even try. At 6 am in my pajamas I had to go to the office myself (a long outdoor walk) to obtain a key to a different room in order to have a toilet & shower to use. When I checked out, no one was even aware that I had a problem or had used two rooms.

Excellent value for the money. Pool was very nice, room was clean & quiet. Everything was in good working order. Grounds were very well maintained. I would definently stay here again when in Tucson.

On site restaurant with a real breakfast. Staff was ok.
Guest couldn't control the temperature in the room. There was no fan or noise maker and the room was way to quite. In the future a small standing or desk fan would be helpful for guest.

The reception staff were very helpful and accommodating. The allocated room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The breakfast provided by the hotel was very good with a wide variety of options. The hotel was only 10/15 minutes walk into the downtown area including bus and train stations and only 15/20 minute walk to the University area where there was a wide selection of bas, restaurants and shops etc.
The selection of TV channels available could be improved.
