Our room was clean

Overpriced, overrated, basic hotel room.

Great location, room was stunning, amenities in room and space was great

We had hoped for an early check in as we needed to get ready for a concert. I had called ahead and asked weeks prior and the noted it in our booking, when we arrived we were told too many other people had requested early check in and we would not be able to. Once we returned at normal check in at 4 our room was still not ready. We were offered an available room but with a less desirable view, we were forced to take it do to time constraints and were then late for our dinner reservation and rushing the rest of the evening. A staff member reached out after our stay with an email apologizing and offering us a discount on our next stay, however we were a group of friends who likely won't stay in the same hotel again together. I replied to the email to see if there was anything else that could be done and I never received a reply. We very much enjoyed staying at the hotel and I would book it again for future Vancouver trips but not if I needed to be somewhere the same evening as check in.
