Facilities were under renovations but very clean. Upgrades to rooms are great. Heated pool was clean and fun. Staff was very responsive to our needs. Good off street parking.

Clean room

The patio door was broke to where we could not close it back without lifting it off the track, the coffee maker did not work, and the bed linen was very uncomfortable. The linen felt paper-like, hard, and cheap, like paper hospital scrubs. It was also very weird how the beds were made with a sheet on the bottom, a duvet in the middle, then another sheet on top. The layering easily came apart and that was discomforting as well. I did not want the duvet in the middle touching me because it was more rough and still had the big tags on it which were scratchy. I was also unsure whether they were washing it since it was covered by a sheet on the bottom and the top. The pool was also smaller than it looked in the pictures and very shallow.

Low quality with very limited options breakfast. Dirty carpet. Outdated furniture. Broken beach shower (at exterior beach door). Germs all over the exterior edges/walls of the Jacuzzi. Lack of proper ventilation at indoor pool. Jammed entry door and broken balcony sliding door with foggy glass windows (room 810).

A lot of thing. It's defiantly overpriced!

We needed more toilet paper and for some reason, our room didn't have an alarm clock.

Room was great and the location could not be better.Staff was very friendly and accomdating. Requests were completed quickly.

NO PROBLEMS NOTED

The room was perfect, we had a king suite with a pull out couch. We are a family of 4 (2 toddlers) and it was excellent. One toddler slept in a pack n play next to the pull out couch bed and they had their own TV and it was perfect and gave us a little privacy to watch what we wanted. If you wanted a pack n play would also fit next to the king sized bed on either side. Simply put the king suite was the perfect size for a growing family. We also loved the location, walk right out to the beach, and there was an indoor and an outdoor pool, the outdoor pool also had a bar & grill and you could enjoy a drink while swimming.

There wasn't firm directions on where the outdoor pool was (I knew there was one but didn't see it anywhere) it's separate from the building and didn't get to enjoy it until the last hour of our stay.

we liked everything about this place, the location, cleanliness, amenities and most importantly the staff. The staff were super nice and helpful across the board.

I enjoyed the location of the hotel. The beach wasn’t as crowded and the complimentary breakfast was more than I was expecting, very yummy

I didn’t enjoy the ac unit in the room. It was obnoxiously loud but after being in the room for a bit, I zoned it out

excellent breakfast- hot dishes and cold. friendly folks at reception. good at supplying extra towels, blankets as needed outside of housekeeping. fantastic view of the beach and ocean with super close access easy to get to other places, easy parking.

housekeeping was shoddy. left visible piles of sand on the carpet. a piece of paper that had “ missed” the wastebasket was still on the floor after they’d been there. tub/shower area needs rethinking. the only grab bar was at the shower end, but all the shampoo, etc was at the opposite end, with nothing to hold on to to get there. decor was a bit outdated but the layout was comfortable. we had thought there was an actual kitchen, but there was only a sink, a microwave, some paper plates and plastic utensils.

Room was huge for Va Beach. 12th floor view was great. All the rooms have central air which we have never seen in a hotel ever. the 12th floor claimed to have Ice and vending. The Ice machine was great but vending is missing from this floor. There are conveniences in the lobby for purchase though.

Breakfast buffet was very underwhelming. The area could have been laid out more efficiently. Too many people back tracking to get forks or napkins. The bed was very firm, and the beddings comforter seemed to be too small for 2 to share.

Room was a nice size, felt relatively clean. The elevator was fast. The staff checking in were really nice. Nice view from room. The lobby smelled nice.

The breakfast was ok. The room had chipped paint looked like they could update some things (paint, light switches etc). Very small trash cans. The furniture was not that comfortable.

Inside the cabinets above the kitchen sink were pretty dusty. The pool area needs some work. The ceiling is falling apart and there are leaks from the ceiling. The bathroom in the room had a small leak from above as well
