My room was upgraded to a suite upon request so it was a large room

My stay was for 3 nights and there was no house keeping the entire time even though I requested it. I was told they were short staffed but were not servicing the rooms during a stay due to covid. I don’t know about you but I really tired of businesses using covid as a catch all excuse for rotten service. And there was a long black hair between the sheets when I unmade the bed to go to sleep.

The front desk gentleman was very helpful and very courteous, need more like him.

The room wasn't updated, felt like, I was in a Time warp, all, I needed was a disco light and a warming lamp, very disappointed, Expected more from a Marriott franchise, Room wasn't up to par and didn't meet my expectations

Location

Took quite a bit to check in. Two people at front desk but only one was checking guests in. The air conditioner barely worked. There was a dirty towel in the bathroom. It definitely needed a good cleaning

I enjoyed the fresh hard-boiled eggs in the morning. I could have selected the scrambled eggs, but the hard boiled ones were nicer. The coffee was ready, hot and delicious. Selections of three creamers, as well as 2% mild were above and beyond! On my second day I had 1 hard boiled egg, yogurt, and a bowl of oatmeal. The oatmeal was fresh and it was good. I like to put raisins and brown sugar on my oatmeal. At this Fairfield Inn I had the rare treat of being able to put dried cranberries on the oatmeal. I arrived, and the room smelled bad, but I had travelled for about 18 hours before I hit the pillow, so I went to sleep, saying that I would speak with the manager the next day.

When I arrived I had been traveling for a long time, and I was very tired. I fell into bed, and was asleep in a minute or two. The room did not smell good. I mentioned this to the manager the following morning I spoke with the manager, and she (1) apologized, and (2) had the room cleaned while I was away. When I returned late in the afternoon the room was fresh as a daisy. Very clean. I wasn't done adequately upon arrival, but this manager made sure it was perfect for my next night. Polite. Attentive. Efficient. Friendly. Customer service was perfect!

It was what we wanted like staying at Fairfield inns.

There wasn’t anything that we didn’t like. Wish the hot breakfast was back to normal. But what is normal these days😄

The location is convenient to I-95 and a Cracker Barrell restaurant.

Carpet was damp feeling when we arrived. Only room temperature control was an older, under-the-window-unit with no room thermostat. Sink would not stop up, plunger was broken. Room with shower and and commode was lit with a cheap low brilliance fluorescent light. It had the ambiance of a morgue. The shower head was one of the oldest we have seen in years. TV was smaller and much older than the other three hotels we stayed in this trip.

Carpet in rooms and hallway looked very new. Decor appeared up to date.

soap and shampoo dispensers were clogged. Used bar soap for bathing and had brought my own shampoo

The location was great staff was super friendly.

The mini fridge in the room had a half bottle of soda in there. So makes me think it wasn’t looked it. It definitely was not cleaned cause it would have been seen. So now I question the cleanliness of the room. I don’t believe it was as clean as it could be.
