Staff seemed friendly, and the hotel room was clean.

The fire alarm went off at 2:45 am because sometime took a hot shower with the bathroom door open. The staff seemed aware that this is a continuing issue, yet they did not warn people at check-in to keep the bathroom door closed when showering. It might be best to stay somewhere else if you prefer uninterrupted sleep.

The hotel was clean and did not have any bad odors. The room was clean and the bathroom was clean. That really makes a difference when staying at a hotel. Tiyell was working the night we arrived. We walked in and got a room right away. He was very professional and had a nice attitude and demeanor.

I bought a gold peak tea from the coolers and after taking a big drink and nearly spitting it out, I saw that it had expired in Feb 2023. I was not happy!!

Breakfast was OK, we overlapped with the Dogwood fest, so lots of crowds that we did not expect.

Actually nothing, but there were no closets--a bit surprising. Otherwise OK and quiet even though near Route 29

We didn't make the breakfast until 15 minutes before it closed so we can't speak to that much. But it looks like it would have been nice had we had more time. We absolutely loved the beds! They were so comfortable and the bedding was superb! I'd like to have it on my own bed at home! Everything was nice and clean and the staff was professional and friendly. The room was attractive and quiet!

The only thing I noticed that was missing were drawers for clothes and there wasn't a pen and/or paper for notes. This was also the first time I stayed in a hotel that didn't have a bible. Not a complaint, just an observation. Lots of places I've stayed also has an envelope to leave a tip for the cleaning staff and you didn't have one. I don't know if that's policy or just a slip-up.

The breakfast was awesome and included hot prepared foods as well as make your own waffles, breakfast cereals, muffins, fruit, and yogurt. The rooms were modern, well furnished, comfortable beds and nice bedding. The bathrooms were well stocked with linens when we arrived versus the normal of getting two towels and one washcloth and having to go to front desk to get an adequate number of linens. The staff were very friendly. We never once needed for anything during our whole visit.

Everything about the property was PHENOMENAL!! I arrived around 11pm after traveling for 10 hours. when I arrived the staff had already checked me in and my room keys available. there was literally no wait!!
