The staff was super friendly.
The room layout was just weird. If you're traveling with someone you're not comfortable dressing in front of you're out of luck because there is zero privacy. You'll end up dressing in a tiny bathroom.
The pull out bed was hardly a mattress and only came with a blanket and 1 pillow. My dog's bed is nicer.
Also, hope you like the soothing sounds of construction because we were fortunate enough to be placed on the same floor room renovations were happening.

The place is under renovation. That was not mentioned while booking the room. I had to worry the whole time there about my vehicle and the construction going on. Even walking into the hotel was not safe. They were working right above the entrance while people were entering and leaving. This should've been mentioned and allowed individuals to choose to stay even if there is construction. There also should've been an alternative entrance.

Breakfast was good. The staff was good.
The TV had an issue with the volume control and wouldn't go under 50 dcb. This made watching TV basically unbearable and would have annoyed the neighbors. The bathroom was very tiny. Clean; but tiny.
You can tell at one point this was a top-tier property; but it has fallen off over the years. To their credit and my disbelief; the construction going on was very aparent and noticeable.

My family has always stayed here when visiting with family because of the location and how accommodating the staff are. And in 8 years never a problem.
I work for a resort in Mccormick sc, and never would we rent rooms that were thrown together during renovation. Only 1 elevator worked, and the one would halfway work.
I paid for 2 rooms so our family could mourn together before the funeral we were attending. And 3 out of the 4 people woke up to covid. So after a sleepless 2 nights and covid, not to mention paying an exorbitant amt. To sleep in the car.

Good breakfast eggs sausage potatoes waffles cereals yogurt French toast. Very close to mall and highway 385 about 15min drive to nearly anything you would like to see in Greenville

Arlene & the other ladies at the front desk were awesome. We also enjoyed the chicken wings cooked on site.If it weren't for the construction we would have given all 10's. We will definitely stay again when we visit the beautiful city of Greenville! Thank You.

Room layout - itseemed to be missing furniture. The night stand was triple the normal size and you had to crawl out of bed at the foot to avoid hitting you leg on the corner of the night stand. Door to bathroom opens inward and just barely misses the toilet. It takes a move that would make a gymnast proud just to get into the bathroom.

Convenient to have a location and dining place to eat .
Everything room was dirty, hair was all over the beds and sink/tub. No mattress for pull out bed and the plug socket was coming out the wall was scared to use it could had gotten shock.

Convenient location.
Hotel is not very clean; several bad odors in the hallways and elevators. No ice machine. Elevators are very old and need to be replaced. Building is currently undergoing some construction, so hopefully it will be a lot better after it’s done.

It was under renovation if I knew that I would have stayed elsewhere and the room wasn’t that clean floors needed to be vacuumed and there was already a towel on the floor in the bathroom as if someone had used it it wasn’t clean

Check-in staff seemed uninterested. We had to get ice from the front lobby, and most hotels have ice on each floor. Several breakfast items were cold. The expresso machine was broken. We were not informed at booking that there was construction going on. There was no awning at the front of the hotel. There was a trash can blocking the entry, catching water from a ceiling leak. Several dumpsters were taking up parking spaces. I requested a paper receipt at check out but was told they could not print one since I went through a 3rd party to book the room. No lamps or lights by the beds. There were not enough outlets. No book with amenities was in the room...
There was a spill in the elevator that was not addressed that could have caused someone to get hurt.

4. when I laid in bed it felt wet, I just thought maybe just came dryer but not all the way dry, ok. When I got a good look at this cover it had mold/ mildew inside cover and I took a picture

The staff quickly corrected the issues we had.
The front desk first assigned us to a room with a quest already in it. We had a child traveling with us, so safety became a concern at this point. We walked right in on these people. The front desk offered a discount and quickly took care of the issue; it just put a damper on the start of our trip. I was also unaware the hotel had a water leak, and the hallways smelled awful.

The staff were very cordial
The room was musty and the sofa bed was filthy and proper bedding was never provided despite requests. The sofa bed blocked the doorway when made out which certainly must not meet fire code. The room was booked for 4 adults so it was clear the sofa bed would be used yet it was not properly positioned and bedding was not provided.

It was close to my reason for travel.
Staff was passive aggressive, the towels are located inside the shower which seems unsanitary, the water pressure is also harsh and uncomfortable. The elevators are also really sketchy with the buttons getting stuck and the panels moving.
