We went up to Door County with our extended family for a celebration and we had a wonderful time!
This property and house were beautiful! It was hard to tell from the pictures just how big it was. Once we got in there, we were amazed at the huge living room area, and we almost got lost deciding on our rooms. There is a large kitchen and supplies for large parties like ours.
The rooms had more than enough blankets, pillows and pads, so that the kid cousins could do sleepovers in each others’ rooms if desired. Every room had a little different layout so we were all able to find rooms that worked best for our families.
The outdoor area was large and allowed for lots of outdoor football and bonfires. Kids and adults alike had a blast outside.
The house is just a 0.5 mile walk from downtown Sister Bay. We took many walks down there and got to enjoy the various shops and restaurants.
Gary was easy to reach and very helpful with any questions we had.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay at Maple Manor again!!

Gary was very proactive and responsive with his communication. The home was clean and beds were comfortable - wonderful to have so many bedrooms that felt like master suites with own private bathrooms! Kitchen set up was absolutely perfect and did not feel crowded. So nice to have two large dining room tables to accommodate everybody - highly recommend!! Thank you Gary!

We had a great time, everything we needed in the kitchen for big meals.
Close enough to walk into town without being too close, no noise, felt like we were rural. Nice fires every night.

Enjoyed a work team get-away, work day, and team building weekend. Host was responsive and went above and beyond. Plenty of space for our team to break out, spread out. Large dining room table made a great conference room space. We appreciated the available network printer for a few documents we needed to print. We may return next year if we are able to get away.

Our yearly event was one of the best. The property was better than anticipated and we had a wonderful time despite the weather being a little wet.

This is our second time staying here and it won’t be our last! It’s a beautiful super well appointed home that allows the guests privacy when desired and ample space to get together as a group.

We (a group of 7 women, over 50) thoroughly loved this property. Each had our own very nice bedroom (fireplaces and jacuzzis in most) with private bath. Plenty of space to gather but also to take a break alone. We did crafts in the dining room, yoga in the living room, and had a wild pool tournament in the basement! The Kitchen is very functional and nice . We used the fire pit many times. The location (Sister Bay) is ideal too - close to nature, shopping and lots of restaurants. We had one maintenance issue while we were there, and Gary immediately sent someone to take a look (within 20mins). Just an overall lovely property - fun area, especially for a girls trip - and responsive owner - you can't go wrong picking this beautiful home!

Maple Manor was absolutely perfect for our big group. Loved everything about this place. Location, size, bathroom in most bedrooms was amazing. Outdoor firepit with wood for days made our evenings extra special. The only thing I would suggest is more bath towels. One per person was tough. We had to get more. Also the locks on all the doors on the outside caused some problems opening them. Gary did get back to me quickly with the codes to open them.
I would recommend this place to anyone with a large group. Maple Manor was perfect for all 18 of us. Never felt cramped.

This house is perfect for families, had 3 with 7 kids total and everyone loved it. the kitchen was great for cooking, big family room and basement for hanging out, and yard for running around. fire pit for smores was a big hit with the kids too. being about a half mile from sister bay was a plus too, side street 1 block way takes you right to the beach/ playground. owner was really easy to get a hold of too, had a question about bike storage and they responded right away, even called us proactivly just to see if we needed anything. would highly recommend this house!!

There were seven sisters, one son and daughter in law, and 3 brothers in law. Wonderful roomy bedrooms for everyone. Loved having the large patio and firepit. I cooked prime rib and salmon so was pleasantly surprised with a very well equipped and functional kitchen. We all enjoyed our 3 days and highly recommend it to others.

We had a group of 6 couples (originally 7 but 1 canceled) and 1 widow. We all had our own bathrooms in nicely appointed individual bedrooms. Plus there were lots pf gathering places, as well as places for the introverts to find a little quiet time. Wonderful kitchen for preparing big meals and lots of dining space. Also walking distance to some shops and restaurants! We loved it!

I rented for a family reunion. Maple Manor was really spacious, lovely bedrooms with private baths, well equipped with kitchen utensils and appliances, yard games, printer with WiFi, superglue. You name it, it was there. The rooms were clean and the location was so easy and convenient to downtown Sister Bay. I would highly recommend to other guests needing accommodations for a big group.

Joyous Family Gathering
There were 4 couples (1 with a 3 and 6 year old), and 2 singles. We walked into Sister Bay for shopping, dinner, fireworks, drinking beer, a boat ride. We watched birds from the back deck. We cooked meals in the well appointed kitchen and ate on the back deck. An abundance of bathrooms was great. We may never get back to Door County, but if we do, we know where we will stay.

Family Reunion in Door County
We plan an annual family reunion to get 4 generations together under one roof (ages 1 year to 100 years). Maple Manor was a marvelous choice! The location is a quick walk or drive to the main shopping/eating section of Sister Bay. We enjoyed many hours outside on the patio and lawn, playing games graciously supplied by the hosts.
The house is absolutely lovely and spacious. There was a bedroom and bathroom for each family, a wonderful accommodation! There was plenty of seating areas in the great room, and the piano was a big hit with the classical music fans in the group! The kitchen is well stocked and cabinets/drawers labeled for ease.
We all had a wonderful time and would love to come back!

Exceeded expectations--more than enough room, more than enough kitchen supplies, beautiful large yard, huge fire pit with tons of seating, extra mattresses, Pack 'n Play, tv's, games, enough bathrooms... AND, this property was SPARKLING clean. The location is perfect as you can walk to downtown Sister Bay. We so enjoyed our stay and can't imagine a better place for a big family. Highly recommend booking!

Everything we could have hoped for and more!
It’s almost impossible for me to summarize how amazing this property is! We booked this for our family for our son’s wedding and we were so incredibly impressed with everything! The home is gorgeous, extremely well appointed (it has EVERYTHING!), very very clean and the perfect set up for a family. We had a total of 17 adults and there was more than enough room for everyone. The kitchen has everything one could wish for, the great room is the perfect gathering space, every bedroom is beautifully appointed with very large bathrooms and the yard with the porch and fire pit is a dream. Gary was extremely responsive to any questions we had and it’s .6 miles to the main strip. We are long time door county vacationers but first time using VRBO and the family is begging to rebook next year! We highly recommend Maple Manor! You will not be disappointed!

Great Stay, Great Location
We had quite a diverse crowd age-wise but everyone managed to find something to do and have a nice time. It's a short walk / drive to any number of attractions be it shopping, golf, restaurants, the lake. The accomodations were top-notch and very comfortable.

Wonderful for our family reunion!
Everything was just as described and better! The home is spacious, well equipped, plenty of room outside and inside for our family to gather and also plenty of private spaces. Gary was immediately responsive and helpful. The location is conveniently just up the street from the main drag through Sisters Bay but very quiet and private.

50th Wedding Anniversary Getaway to Maple Manor
Perfect place for our family of 16 to gather. Beautiful home with all the amenities anyone could ask for! We not only enjoyed everything inside the home but the large yard was great for our family to play yard games and gather around the campfire! Every morning a number of us would walk to the beach and marina enjoying the beautiful scenery and perfect weather! Totally Lovely!

Great Place for a Large Group!
Our stay at this location was absolutely wonderful. And the owner was extremely responsive and the house was very well stocked with kitchen appliances games and other entertainment. We were there with five other couples for a wedding and there were several rainy days over the weekend. There was lots of room to spread out and lots of room to get together, so everyone’s needs were met. The bedrooms are so spread out that it is easy to sleep in and be sheltered from the group noise. Outside is also set up great for campfires and grilling. It is just a half-mile hike into town to go exploring. We cannot wait to come back sometime in the future.

This house is just perfect for a large group. Lots of options for those who wanted shared space and solo space. Great common areas and sooo well stocked! Plenty of outdoor space, parking for lots of cars, and easy access to all parts of door county.

Great home for a large family get away. We had 14 people.
More than enough room for everyone to have privacy if needed. The house was very well supplied and had a perfect yard for outdoor lawn games and a fire pit for evening relaxation. I would definitely recommend this home to my friends.

Wonderful!
Maple Manor was perfect for our group of 6 couples. Incredible amount of space to spread out. Plenty of activities (games, books, puzzles) for everyone. Very well stocked with any cooking utensil that was needed. Will definitely look to rent here again!

Wonderful location for a large group!
Maple Manor had so much to offer both inside and outside. The owners were wonderful to work with. The bedrooms all had comfortable beds and lots of space. This was perfect for a group to be as together or separate as you want.

FAMILY CHRISTMAS
Our family started a new tradition a few years ago, partially because the family has gotten so large that we need alot of room (we are currently at 21). This house was perfect! The age range is from 1 to 68. Everyone had a bed, and their own space. The noise level from previous experiences was so much better. Everyone expressed their desire to return next year! Thank you for a wonderful Family Christmas!

Spacious getaway with friends
We recently spent a long weekend at this property with a group of friends. We loved the fact that everyone had their own bed & bath space to spread out (can be hard to come by with such a large group) but the common areas felt cozy & inviting. We cooked each night & it was great to have a home that was more than stocked with all the essentials. Loved the backyard firepit on those cold Wisconsin nights. We booked immediately for next year!

Huge place, great for couples
The place blew us away. It was so nice having a bathroom for each bedroom! The main great room we affectionately called the “sanctuary”.... it was large but homey. We made a charcuterie board on the kitchen island one evening, the kitchen had every utinsel and bowl you could ever need. The basement pool table and shuffle board table were a huge hit! The weather was pretty yucky during our stay, but we did get to enjoy an outdoor fire on our last night. It was excellent that the property provided wood so we didn’t have to buy/bring our own. We plan to stay here again next year! It’s the perfect place for a couples weekend without kids! Although kids would love the place too!
