Eindeutig die Onsen, wirklich gut. Zimmer war ok. Personal hat sich bemüht, leider so gut wie kein Englisch, mit translator ok

Das Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Teppichboden in den Fluren für japanische Verhältnisse ungewöhnlich schmutzig. Restaurant sehr ungemütlich.

Comfortable size room for a family of 5. The breakfast didn’t have many options but the Japanese food they have tasted great.

The location, the hotel located on the hill, the road was narrow and quite hard to drive up to the hotel.

We liked the traditional Japanese rooms. We enjoyed as a family staying together. The dinner was excellent. The onsen was lovely too.

Nothing to complain about but the property sits at the top of a very very steep hill. It would be nice if the hotel could explain this and inform guests that taking a taxi from the station is not expensive at all (for us it was only ¥780) and especially if you have a lot of luggage it saves a lot of trouble!

Room was very spacious and clean. Onsen was beautiful, although as a public bath can be crowded. Atmosphere was very relaxing and the surroundings was pretty. Breakfast was thorough affair of Japanese small dishes.

No complaints, except all signs were in Japanese, although staff can speak in English and assist you to some extent.

The lack of explanation and communication on how, what, where and when things work at the hotel. I would definitely advise that foreigners who know nothing about the local tradition etc. and would like to experience it NOT stay here and go somewhere where proper guidance is given.

The onsen was great. The Japanese breakfast buffet was amazing too.

Lack of laundry facilities. Dripping water noise in the toilet all night. View was nonexistent, never mind "mountain" view. Shuttle bus service was abysmal.

Onsen facility was great, able to use the other hotel Okada bath as well. Reasonable price.

The sleeping quarter was a bit dated but hey they are not asking fancy price. Hotel transportation runs till 16:45, which I missed. You have to take a taxi or walk for 20-30min. And it's a hike at the end.
