Room was clean and orderly. Did not have window but we knew that going in. The staff was very helpful, we arrived very early and were able to leave our bags at reception until the room was ready. Very quiet at night, the immediate area has plenty of restaurants and is about a five minute walk from the metro station. Would definitely book here again.

The room itself was clean, staff was nice. There's a free water dispenser and a Family Mart right downstairs.

Contrary to the description and reviews I read, the nearest MRT station was actually a bit far. And while it's probably safe, you need to go through some small and dim alleys around what seemed to be a residential area, and as a solo female traveller at night, let's just say I kept looking over my shoulder for a good 10-15minutes. I suppose it was okay for a short stay (I stayed two nights just to see a concert at the Taipei Arena), but I know I also could have gotten a much better place for the same price - I just booked this because it's relatively near the venue and I wanted a "walkable" place in case the concert finished late and I had to walk home. Also, be warned, the hotel is located on one of the floors of a pretty old and (honestly) sketchy-looking building. The way to the hotel wasn't exactly a vibrant and touristy area, and the building entrance creeped me out a little bit. But when you get to the hotel floor, it has a totally different vibe. Be cautious if you have some back pains because on both nights I slept long but didn't wake up feeling well-rested. The bed was too soft, not very good for my back. The walls were incredibly thin, I could hear the person next door plugging in their devices and tearing some sheets of paper. You could hear very clearly the people talking in the hallway. Probably not good if you're a light sleeper. Lucky for me I could still sleep through that.

horrible sound insulation between rooms. wash machine/dryer took ages. shower curtain was not that effective so we had to deal with wet floor in the super tiny bathroom.

Convenient, easily accessible, very clean, bed is very comfortable, value for money, will be back!
