Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Bar looks amazing. The food we had was delicious, the only thing that let it down was the room.

First, on Booking.com it said breakfast was included. When we arrived I asked when breakfast started, as we had an early start, and the barman said oh, you dont get breakfast, that is a mistake on the website and we should get it sorted out! Our room was on the ground floor (nice room, comfortable and clean) but it opened directly on to the bar area. This meant that until the bar closed we were disturbed by music (to be fair it wasnt thumping loud but did come straight through our door) and people chatting outside. The door to the bar toilets was opposite our room door, and every time someone went into or out of the toilets the door slammed shut loudly. I am a reasonably light sleeper, so I was unable to get to sleep until the bar closed which was later than I wanted. Outside our window there was a faulty sign light (neon?) which every few minutes flashed quite brightly. The windows didnt have blackout blinds so that was also quite disturbing. I didn't talk to the staff about this that evening as I understood the hotel was full, so we coudn't move room, they weren't going to close the bar early for me and they probably couldn't fix the light, so I decided not to disturb them that night but to speak in the morning. However, as we were up early there was no one to speak to so we just left. I believe they have other rooms upstairs which I suspect would be fine, but they really shouldn't let the ground floor room, it just isn't OK.

Lovely, clean and modern room. Had everything we needed for a short stay, the bed and pillows were really comfy too. Staff were brilliant, polite and helpful

Cozy and friendly staff , good hot water and heating , good atmosphere in the bar . Great location for coach station.

Appliances in room a little outdated, smelt a little stuffy in the room and could hear noises from adjacent rooms and upstairs .

Very friendly & helpful staff, great bar / food and large rooms (family deluxe) would highly recommend.

Rooms plain and basic Plug missing from sink Loose fittings in bathroom , made it feel that room thrown together

Loved the decor very clean and comfortable staff really friendly and helpful beautifull garden area would highly recomend the gin bar 😄 and would definitely stay again

Not that I didn't like it but they don't do breakfast but there is plenty places to eat in the city

We loved everything about the property it was clean, comfortable and the staff were amazing I just wish we had had time to stay to eat in the restaurant
