Ce qui est génial avec cet appartement raffiné, c'est qu'il est idéalement situé, à proximité du centre de Summertown, tout en étant dans un développement très calme - en retrait à 60 mètres de la route principale (Woodstock Road).
A l'intérieur, l'appartement est récemment décoré et recouvert de moquette, avec un parquet de bon goût dans le salon / salle à manger spacieux et lumineux. Le salon est lumineux, avec des portes-fenêtres orientées plein sud. La salle a une table à manger pour 6 personnes, 2 canapés, une table basse et une commode avec beaucoup d'espace de rangement. Si vous avez envie de vous détendre après une journée d'exploration, il y a un nouveau téléviseur Sony 40 "avec abonnements Netflix et Amazon Instant Video et un lecteur Blu-ray. La musique est également prise en charge avec une mini chaîne hi-fi compatible Bluetooth.
La cuisine est bien équipée avec un lave-vaisselle, un lave-linge / sèche-linge, un réfrigérateur / congélateur, une bouilloire, un grille-pain, une machine à café à filtre et un four électrique et des plaques de cuisson. Il y a aussi une bonne sélection d'assiettes, de vaisselle, de casseroles et de poêles.
Les chambres donnent toutes sur les courts de tennis de Summertown (disponibles pour votre usage - voir la description du quartier), ce qui est un merveilleux spectacle pour se réveiller. Dehors, l'appartement se trouve dans un développement calme et agréable juste à côté de Woodstock Road dans la banlieue verdoyante et élégante d'Oxford de Summertown. Le développement est entouré de beaux jardins bien entretenus avec des bancs et des espaces verts pour profiter de l'espace extérieur. My elderly mother and I had a good stay at the apartment while visiting my child at Oxford U recently. The apartment is within easy walking distance of shops in Summertown, and a bus route to the centre of Oxford. The apartment is comfortable and well-equipped with all one needs. There is no fan in the bathroom, which was a big dark and musty, but otherwise tip-top. Walls in the building are thin, but the neighbours were all quiet so that was no problem. The owner responded extremely quickly to messages - the cleaners had not advised him of certain issues, but he addressed them promptly when we did so.
I find the lock box system a bit complicated/stressful, especially when leaving to get a bus to the airport, but it works well as long as you have instructions in-hand.
I would recommend a sheet of instructions on how to use appliances for future visitors, especially those of us from North America not as familiar with UK appliances (e.g., the washer/dryer in-onea, what kind of soap/detergent to use in the dishwasher, etc.) :-)

Danny's flat is clean, comfortable, spacious and in a wonderful location for exploring the best of Oxford. I would recommend this lovely place to anyone who is wanting to visit Oxford with their family, our teens were delighted with the space and comforts of home.

My family stayed here for a week over the Christmas holiday. We buzzed through London in four days and were thrilled to be able to slow down and relax in Oxford. The apartment provided space for all of us to spread out...very important for my two teenagers. It was quiet, clean, and comfortable. And, it was well located. We were not in the bustle of the City Centre, though buses were nearby and downtown was only 10 minutes away. We could even walk if the weather was nice. Also, shopping in Summertown was very convenient, so we did not feel isolated when we returned to the flat for the evening. The kitchen had everything we needed for the occasional meals at home. And, we really appreciated the washing machine and a good shower. A very good family option. Many thanks to Danny for the hospitality.

Excellent location for exploring Oxford area being about a 30 minute walk to Oxford city center. Summertown shops and restaurants just around corner (we highly recommend Mamma Mia’s!). The apartment was clean and orderly and in a very quiet location set back from the main (Woodstock) road. Beds were comfortable but being used to a queen we found the double bed a bit narrow. The shower was excellent but the toilet flush was a bit temperamental and the bathroom sink had VERY low water pressure. Kitchen was well equipped and Dan even left us tea, coffee, milk and bread which was a lovely surprise! We were not big fans of the induction stove but others may be used to this (hot plate turns off if you maneuver the pan - a safety feature I believe but we found it frustrating to cook on). All in all we had a very pleasant and comfortable stay. Absolutely the best feature here was the free parking in a designated garage - parking in Oxford is non existent! Also thank you Dan for the visitor’s parking passes which allowed my brother and sister in law to visit from London for a day. We visited the Ashmolean which I also highly recommend.

Perfect loc
We loved our stay in Oxford. We were there for 3 weeks and felt very at home. Danny is beyond kind and responsive.
This flat was great for my family, the kitchen is well stocked, there is a table for 6 people and a hutch. There's even a little desk for your computer. Having a washer/dryer is a life saver.
The bathroom is a very nice size and the shower is large, which isn't our typical VRBO experience in the UK and Europe. Plenty of room to move around and wash your hair without banging your elbows (if you know, you know).
The beds are smaller than we are used to (which we knew when booking), but VERY comfortable mattresses. Bedrooms are equipped with hampers and wardrobes/closets.
The living room is spacious. There were 3 of us and we had a couple of friends over to visit and we all fit comfortably. The living room has great sofas, probably the most comfortable I've had at a VRBO. The TV is set up with all the streaming services we could ever want.
The location is SUPER convenient. The street is right off Woodstock with is a main street into Oxford. The bus stop is just at the end of the driveway from the flat. We had a weekly bus pass and you can get to town in about 5 minutes by bus. Some days we just walked because it's only 2 miles to central Oxford. Around the corner and down the street is the main stretch of Summertown with tons of shops and restaurants.
I highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful apartment with absolutely everything you could need! From Netflix to a dishwasher! Right next to multiple bus stops straight into the centre and elsewhere.

Lovely flat, very quiet.
Close to Oxford and an easy walk to groceries, we were very satisfied with this flat. Danny is a very attentive host who helped us in any way that he could. The kitchen is well-equipped, the flat is clean, quiet and comfortable. Would recommend to a family wanting a convenient launch-pad for Oxford and the surrounding area.

We (a family of five) loved the appartement. Very clean, cosy, and conveniently located for vists to Oxford city centre as well as Woodstock/Blenheim Palace.

A nice place to stay to visit Oxford
We (family of 4) enjoyed our 3 night stay in this apartment. The place was clean and an easy distance to the bus stop. Was great to have 3 bedrooms so the kids had their own spaces. Danny (owner) was very nice and helpful.

Great location, very helpful and responsive owner
This was the perfect little flat for visiting Oxford. Located just on the bus line, about a 15 minute trip into City Center. Also within walking distance of Summertown for shopping and a few restaurants. Well-equipped small kitchen, bathroom apparently recently upgraded with a terrific shower. Comfortable beds. Sofas are a bit low to the ground (tall husband was somewhat uncomfortable). Danny was very responsive whenever I had a question. Flat was clean and quiet. Set in a cul-de-sac so the traffic noise was minimized. Would rent again.

A lovely light flat in central location!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Danny's lovely flat! The flat is exactly as pictured on the website and is thoughtfully furnished with everything one could need. The kitchen is really well stocked - one could do lots of cooking although we preferred to eat out! The location is ideal for central Oxford ( about 5 minutes bus ride to town) and within easy walking distance of the Summertown shops and bus stops and cafés.
Danny was extremely helpful and responded to all of my queries very quickly. The information given about the flat is very complete. The only slight glitch was the key safe by the front door which we found hard to open. We managed though and all was well! I would definitely recommend this flat and owner! Thank you Danny!

The property was in good clean condition on arrival and the owner was helpful and sorted out additional parking. It was furnished to a good standard and the Kitchen was well equipped for our needs. The local area had all the facilities we needed and the City Centre was only 25 to 30 minutes walk away along the main road or along the Oxford canal.

Perfect Place to Stay in Oxford
My colleague and I stayed at this lovely apartment while attending an annual conference in Oxford. It is just as advertised and was just perfect for our needs. Very bright and the view from the bedrooms is private yet open vista with great view of the tennis courts. Great way to wake up in the morning. Well appointed kitchen. Spacious living area. Just a few steps from the bus stop, which takes you to city center in about 5 minutes. Will definitely book the next time in Oxford. Thanks Danny!

Clean and what we needed
The apartment is exactly what we needed and the price is right. The instructions to get in the place and clear and easy. Parking was a big plus. No hassle stay, except the 10am check out seemed a bit early, but we managed. No one was there right at 10am demanding that we leave immediately. Good place overall. Would stay again.

Wonderful!
Thoroughly recommended! The apartment was comfortable, spotless, and extremely well equipped. There was tea, coffee, olive oil, salt and pepper, dishwasher and laundry tabs, plentiful pans and utensils, loads of toilet roll, leaflets on the local area, alarm clocks, laundry baskets, a high chair and travel cot for our baby, an extension cable, even sellotape - everything you could possibly need! The location was also perfect, in a pleasant and quiet close set back from the Woodstock road, an easy 10 minute bus ride into Oxford town centre with regular buses and the stop only a minute or two away. Check-in and out was easy, with a lock box and code to get the keys, so no need to coordinate with the owner, who was nonetheless very helpful with a couple of minor queries. Next time I’m in Oxford I’ll definitely stay here again!

perfect place for a visit to Oxford
The apartment had everything that was promised and was well-equipped and maintained. Contacts with the owner were easy and Danny offered a lot of helpful advice and information. We enjoyed the shops and restaurants nearby and the bus stop at the corner was very convenient for the trips into the city centre. And for keen walkers the path along Oxford Canal is a pleasure - even in October.
We have already told our friends about this place and will come back, if only to profit from Danny's bottle of wine which was waiting for us on arrival. Thanks again.

Lovely apartment
This Oxford apartment was clean, well-appointed and in close proximity to the university. Everything about our experience - from booking to checkout - was well organized and easy. We will not look elsewhere for lodging if we return to Oxford in the future.

Holiday stay in Oxford Oct 2017.
Accommodation as described, even had some small extras we hadn’t expected I.e cafetière, herbs, oils a home from home really & a lovely gift from the owners of a bottle of red wine. The bus stop was only 2 min walk & the buses ran every 15mins, ideal location for seeing the sights and not spending too much time every day travelling. Would have no hesitation in recommending & staying there again if in Oxford.
