The house was perfect for large families or groups of friends with children. Three of the bedrooms have en-suites with two additional bedrooms and toilets. The kitchen appliances were very modern and the host was super accommodating and efficient with our last minute requests. We had a great time!

How close it was to the beach and the city

Location is great. 3 bedrooms have ensuites & the other 2 bedrooms share an ensuite. The kids room was very well set up & the pool area was beautiful. The host was very responsive.

The mattresses are very hard & uncomfortable. The kitchen appliances are very complex to use, there are no instructions & the microwave is down low so kids were able to play with it. The kitchen lacks a lot of utensils such as can opener, salad bowl, platter, etc. There is no pantry space to put food/groceries. There is no clothesline & we had one clothes horse that had to be put out in pool area to catch sun. The living/dining area is far too small for the 10 people we had staying there; the additional powder/toilet room is wasted space & would have been better to increase the living space. The lounge area has a projector rather than a TV & has no free to air TV channels; can only access Netflix. In daylight the screen is not easy to see on the wall. You have to enter a code to get in & out of the gate & there is no light so it was difficult to see in the dark. It is unnecessary to enter a code to exit the gate & I would deem it dangerous in the event of an emergency. There is not enough seating in the outside area for 10 people. The Webber bbq didn't have any roasting racks or trays so we decided not to use it even though it cost us extra to hire. We paid additional to have portacots but were provided with toddler beds which were unsuitable for babies so we had to buy our own portacots.

This airbnb was immaculate. Super clean & tidy. The host is very polite, friendly and responsive to all messages. The location was perfect as it's only a short walk to shops, cafes, beaches.

Modern, nicely renovated home with lots of beds and toilets. Kids loved the pool, games room and streetfighter arcade at the back was a nice surprise too. Good kitchen, good air-conditioning and nice outdoor cabana area for chilling. Excellent and reasonable hosts. They were responsive throughout the booking process, and offered us early checkins and late checkout at 12. They were also attentive and hospitable, providing free coke, wine and coffee (and other gifts),and they didn't even want me to take off the bedsheets as part of checking out!

At night to exit the house, you need to type in the door code as well, but it's quite dark so it's a bit difficult to do and feels troublesome. Suggest placing a small sensor light there, you can get it from Bunnings (Lytworx brand), I use it at my home. I wish they supplied salt pepper and cooking oil so I didn't have to buy, the owners explained that it was removed due to COVID. Wished there was free to air TV in the living room so we could watch the Australian Open tennis together, there were TVs in all the bedrooms but we didn't use them at all.

Love the setup with most bedrooms having their own ensuite bathroom! Location was a short walk into Cavill Avenue. A great house to stay at when you have events to go to and need a place to sleep, pool was nice too!

I was a bit disappointed with the small 'lounge room' space in the house considering it's for 10 people - if you are planning on mingling inside this space would not be big enough. For 10 guests we were only given 8 bath towels, so the others had to use the beach towels which isn't great.

The house was super clean, very warm, new appliances, nicely decorated and well appointed with ensuites in three of the five bedrooms. It is perfectly located if you want to be a five minute walk into Surfers without staying right in it. There was complimentary fruit, milk, soft drinks, bread, tea, coffee etc which was a very surprising touch.
