This property was very nice, my Friends all loved the setup and had a great time..The only problem i had was the guest staying next door in the other property..They for some reason thought the pool belonged to them only. The owner was contacted and the problem was quickly resolved.

The property is beautiful. Clean and fully stocked. The property is even better in person. The neighborhood is quiet. The house is well stocked, we usually need to get items but this house had everything. The host is amazing. He answers all questions and concerns immediately. The pool and yard are immaculate. They even had some pool toys for the kids. I would definitely recommend again and again

The property was great. It's close to everything. Food places, Walmart, CVS, Gas Stations, Etc. The grill was clean and ready to use. The pool was clean and ready to use. The only issues was there was only 1 shower and we all had to wait on some one to finish and it took us longer to get ready. But overall still a 5 star.

Alex is very professorial and hospitable. He was available and informative for the entirety of our stay. The home itself was beautiful and very clean. I would definitely book with him again and recommend him and his property to anyone needing to house a large group in Houston, TX.

Clean place and really nice just like the pictures. Inside and outside area were both much bigger than expected so lots of space for family for 6. Kitchen and pool area were both awesome. Location was good, safe and quiet area and easy to get around the city. Host was responsive and helpful. Thanks for a nice thanksgiving stay.

We were in the area for my son’s wedding and we rented both properties with the shared swimming pool and backyard. The rooms were clean and the pool was enjoyed by adults and children. Alexander, the host met us at the house and showed us the property. It is well maintained and clearly loved by the host. It was extremely hot in June but Alexander personally bought over 3 large fans to keep the house cooler. I liked that there was a variety of spices in the pantry. Definitely will rent again from Alexander if I visit Houston. Thank you for a memorable stay.

The property is great. There were others in the adjacent house. Sharing the yard/pool was no problem. The house is well taken care of (minus the grill), as is the back yard. The living room also only had one couch, not the 3 indicated in the picture. The previous review of the bathroom only having a curtain, and not a permanent partition between the two bathrooms is still accurate, despite the owner saying in a March review response, he would correct this. Not a problem for my men’s hockey team, some however would find this unsettling. We selected assuming that had been remedied. The stay was honestly uneventful, until the last night. I walked into my room to find the ceiling leaking. I immediately messaged the owner. Assuming it was the AC (set at 70, while it was 97-99 degrees out during the weekend), I pushed the AC up to 74, at his request. I let the owner know this looked like it was going to be a problem. During the night I was in contact with the owner via text/app. The owner called me at 2:30a and asked me to turn the air off (it was still 85 out). He was having an emergency tech come out to look in the morning. At 4:45 was awakened to a flood of water pelting me from the ceiling. The ceiling started to give way and fell. I got up and pushed the bed out of the way to keep it from getting more wet. About 10 min later the ceiling gave way. Tech said the primary and the back up drain lines are clogged on the AC unit. We ask, “was there anything we did that would have caused this?” He said no, and said you can’t win with both clogged. The owner admitted the prior group noted the AC, and he had a tech out to look at it after their stay and said to the team, “I guess this is what I get for not following up.” I asked him if he would refund our money, and fees, for the 1 night, and then it started a 25 day back and forth. We lost the use of two bedrooms based on the damage, and the adjacent bedroom next door, as that ceiling was suspect. He stated, we were still at fault because we noted we had the AC at 70 before we left, and it was at 74 at check in. No house rule indicates you may not adjust the AC below 74. Adjusting the AC down for 3 prior nights became the “last straw” It’s a great property, if you can get past the bathroom and sharing the back yard. Did offer 1 night refund then rescinded when pressed for 1 night taxes & fees. The owner’s behavior is reprehensible. We won’t be back. Don’t recommend this host.

I have struggled posting this for a few reasons; I did not complain to the owner, the house has some benefits such as its size & quiet neighborhood. The owner was very courteous by calling to inform us about getting into the house. My reasons for not complaining; what I wanted was my money back, I know this is not how VRBO works so I did what I needed to through the 4 nights we were there. The amount of cleaning I would have wanted was not going to be a quick event by anyone & I felt responsible for booking the home when I had some concerns prior to booking. I was concerned that the decor looked outdated & about a review I read stating the bathroom not being very private due to a curtain that separates the two listed bathrooms. I will not complain about the outdated decor as this may be appealing to some, I will complain about the lack of cleanliness & privacy. I will start with the privacy issue; the curtain in the bathrooms that separates the two is not the only issue regarding privacy it was also had a very noticeable dark stain that was simply gross. The other privacy issue is in the bedroom that has two queen beds, the doors leading into the hall & into one of the bathrooms has glass panels covered by sheer curtains. This does not provide privacy but may be good for families with little ones. The lack of cleanliness goes beyond the subjectiveness between what one may consider clean to another. A few things worth mentioning; the towels provided (other than 3 or 4 new white towels) were old and when unfolded long dark hairs were seen. The vents had layers of very thick dust, the grout in the shower with multiple black molded spots, wall by laundry door with the remains of something killed & the duct tape holding something on a light switch. These are just the issues I took pictures of. I spent the first night doing laundry so we would have clean towels and flip flops were worn in the shower. The sheets looked clean, thankfully.

This was a great property. The price point was good for our stay and the multiple bedrooms and large kitchen were excellent. The pool was a big hit with the kids. Mr. Alexander was easy to communicate with and very accommodating.

Home was very clean and spacious. Everything that was online was there and much more. Mr. Alexander was a great host very responsive. Will definitely book again.

Beware! This property looks nothing like the online pictures. Where do I even begin. Upon arrival there was 3 roaches crawling on the wall and we killed all 3. He kept saying that Texas has a statewide bug issue and that the bugs we see are dying not alive. There was very old red/brown juice stains on the couch that the owner told me by text and phone he couldn’t repair due to the couch needed to be upholstered. Claims it’s from the previous renter but why would you not get a couch cover before we checked in? The shower had old plastic mats that had mold and black stains on it. Along with mold along the bottom of the shower. The sheets had stains on them as well. The pool is not private FYI. You share it with 2 other residents at the homes he owns. For the price point this house is very underwhelming, older and whole the owner initially was very nice, he’s false advertising. Nothing is exquisite about this home. Myself and my 14 sorority sisters had to leave within 3 hours of being at this dirty home and stay at a hotel. To top it off VRBO has been absolutely no help. They continue to say it’s at the discretion of the homeowner to refund. What’s the point of booking on VRBO if they do not hold their homeowners accountable? We have videos and pictures to prove everything single allegation we experienced. Lastly the homeowner has become non responsive and finally responded after 2 days with a “thank you” and that he will return my security deposit once he receives it. Vrbo has already communicated that all he has to do is hit refund/cancel. I’m thoroughly disappointed and would not recommend this place to anyone. Legal action is in process to sue Alexander for this horrific experience and lack of ethicality.

Alexander was a wonderful host. Hands on and available for any questions. The place was exactly as pictured for rooms and restrooms? I had my 50th birthday celebration here and intend on planning other stays in the same location. Thanks Alex

Attractive property, nice pool, but has practical shortcomings. Room with 2 queen beds was extremely high to climb with multiple stacked mattresses. Bathrooms were listed as 2 separate baths but there was no door separation hence Inconvenient for sharing as families. No mirror in rooms, bathroom mirror too high;

Great place for our group coming to Hpustom for comedy show at Toyota center then birthday pool party on Sunday. All was great except for the heat in jacuzzi. Host was great! Very responsive great communication. Will definitely be back

Everything was perfect

Unfortunately came at the midst of the summer, and the flys/mosquitoes were definitely out. The owner is very responsive and attentive to the property. There was a storm one night and he was there the next day to clean any debris. Older vibe, but and Awesome place and would definitely stay again!

This was a very nice home to rent for a large group, the owner is very professional, showed exceptional hospitality and made sure all our needs where meet during our stay. I would definitely rent this property again without hesitation.

Everything was cool very good host

The properties were amazing . Clean in tidy shape. Everything was sooooo nice mr Alexander met my group , gave us a tour and greeted us in a loving matter. He allowed my chef to come in for my dinner party. The houses have great quality bedding. More space than I imagined. Very spacious back yard. Amazing trip we are coming back..!!
