It was quiet and clean and there was everything there that we needed.
The only thing that could improve it would be a lock in the bathroom door.

The host rang the day before and couldn’t have been more helpful, he left us a bottle of pink fix and pink Bon bons as he knew we were going to the pink concert. he even let us check in early. would definitely stay again if visiting Sunderland.

The property was lovely! We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely go back for a little getaway. The host was amazing, gave us tons of restaurant recommendations as well as the way to our concert. The beds were lovely, and I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud! The location is also great. It was not too far from the centre and many shops/restaurants were around. It was truly a great experience.

A really nice house. Really comfortable beds. Nice and clean. Great location to get to various locations in the North East. Would highly recommend.

Extremely clean property, great area within walking distance to the town centre with shops and eateries, as well as a short walk to the local metro station. Friendly owner who gave fantastic advice on the Great North Run and restaurant recommendations - would highly recommend!

Very spacious and had everything you could need. Parking was spot on, and the property is kitted out very well - from home to home. The property is also close to all needed amenities and the beach.

We liked everything about our stay. Very efficient from the start, great in answering our questions, prompt replies. Welcoming text with clear explanations regarding how to enter the property. Milk in the fridge and biscuits left for us when we arrived. Clean and comfortable, well decorated. Everything we needed. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and would certainly recommend Violet Cottage to anyone. Easy Drive to Newcastle, Seaham and Beamish.
