The staff were really nice and the hotel is nicely decorated and in a good spot near a beach and shops.
Some of the cleanliness wasn't up to scratch and some of the equipment was missing or didn't work properly.

Ideal location for my daughter's graduation at the stadium of light.
Friendly staff greets you on arrival. Could not have done more for us during our stay.

Rooms spacious, clean and tidy and the room we stayed in had massive single beds.
They felt more like doubles 😁
Made for a very comfortable stay overnight.
And OMG... the TV was massive. It was like a mini cinema in your room 😂
We stayed in room 25 on the ground floor.
Perhaps better parking as only two spaces for disabled outside the hotel. Although can't complain as free parking was available a short distance away.
Also to be told where to park before you get to the hotel as we had to stop and go to reception and ask before finding a parking space.

Notification about parking 2 days before event stating that council had enforced road closures. Think this should of been on the website months before although they did advise of parking in Tesco short walk away which I believe they had organised

The staff was super friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to assist us with a smile 😊 The bar had a great vibe and cozy atmosphere, perfect for unwinding 🍻 The room was spacious and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay 🏡

The room , tv wouldn’t work, air con also , no phone in room ti ring reception, having to go down to reception, then ti wait 45 minutes for someone to sort it out , then to have ti change rooms , rooms should be double checked , dint check in till after 5pm so room should of been perfect

The view was pretty rubbish we looked onto a roof , not a major issue but the receptionist did let us check in early so didn’t mind , it was also very quiet during the night
The room smelled musty , the windows don’t open and the pillows were awful far too soft so didn’t sleep great

It was a lovely place, very comfortable and clean. Check in seamless. I liked that I could leave my car just outside due to my disability.
The check in and restaurant staff were lovely but bar staff a little distant and bordering on rude. I think it’s possible they knew I was an away football supporter just here for the match. I wonder if they might be a bit nicer if I had a Sunderland shirt on? Those supporters were, by my observation, treated a bit nicer!!

No restaurant open on the Sunday evening we arrived & whilst we could order food in the bar there aren’t enough tables to eat comfortably at.

The hotel was lovely, room was clean and facilities were good.
The room was very warm and needed ventilation. Obviously you couldn’t open the windows so we were uncomfortable as the air conditioning didn’t seem to work at all, it wouldn’t come on and we couldn’t get it to work. Woke in the morning after a very uncomfortable night feeling hot and sticky and the windows were dripping in condensation. Also mould on the ceiling in our room.

The hotel was spacious and clean and we had a smooth check in and check out.
The bed was a bit uncomfortable compared to a previous hotel in the same chain.

There was no fridge in the room - some lights didn’t work
I’d asked for the room to be remade as the 2nd guest was changing from being me and my bridesmaid to me and my husband on our wedding night, this did not happen and we were disappointed
