Snug Harbor
Benvenuti nello Snug Harbor a Santa Cruz. Si tratta di una casa con 2 camere da letto e 1 bagno, recentemente sottoposta a una ristrutturazione completa con enfasi su un design efficiente e ponderato, e offre viste quasi illimitate delle barche che si muovono dentro e fuori dallo Yacht Harbour. L'interno è luminoso, pulito e allegro con i lucernari posizionati in tutto, e un sacco di finestre che offrono una vista frontale completa del porto. Un grande tavolo da pranzo con accogliente angolo per la colazione pu��� ospitare comodamente fino a 6 persone, e l'accogliente zona soggiorno è arredata con posti a sedere informali per guardare la grande TV HD a schermo piatto o ascoltare la musica mentre si gode il calore del fuoco. La cucina è ben attrezzata per preparare un pasto cucinato in casa e il cortile chiuso con posti a sedere patio coperto è un luogo ideale per rilassarsi, cenare e barbecue. Le due camere da letto si aprono sul cortile soleggiato con una doccia tropicale all'aperto con acqua corrente calda, e il cortile extra-large è completamente recintato. Inoltre vi è un patio a sud-ovest che è stato sistemato ordinatamente con comodi posti a sedere e offre meravigliose viste sul tramonto del porto.

All in all it was fine. The dishwasher didn’t work so we could not run dishes. Also, the Nextdoor neighbors parties until the early morning. Not very quiet.

Family and pooch just love this house. Location is perfect. Short walk to beach and great restaurants. Short drive to Boardwalk. We have stayed here twice now and can't wait to come back!

We rented last minute - the property managers were wonderful with my questions. The site is spectacular across from the yacht harbor and a short distance from the beach and great for scenic walks with our dog - this property allows dogs. But it’s pristine and doesn’t have a dog smell or vibe. Well-stocked kitchen (thanks for coffee!) sumptuous towels and linens. All in all a great long weekend. Fireplace made the rainy parts of the weekend very cozy! We loved it. Our family in town made more of it for other guests!

This location was the perfect holiday getaway for my wife, dog, and me. The house was just the right size, and everything inside was laid out perfectly. Everything we needed and more was readily available. Also, this house was immaculate; we've stayed at many rentals, and this location was the cleanest house ever. The location is perfect; you are a few walking minutes away from the beach, harbor, trails, restaurants, stores, and more. My family will gladly stay here again in the future. I can't recommend it enough!

The house is cute, well-equipped with everything we needed. I do recommend that the toilet be looked at, it seemed to refill itself every 30 mins. We liked staying here and will be back

We have rented no less than 10 properties in Santa Cruz over the last decade and this one tops the list as the most fun for our family of teen girls. The location is central to so many activities - beach, harbor, lighthouse, the Boardwalk, surf spots, etc. are all a walk or short bike ride away. With this in mind, the owners have generously provided bikes, beach toys, chairs, even firewood for beach bonfires.
The square footage is small but there are 3 outdoor areas to spread out so we never felt cramped and honestly very rarely were indoors. The layout works well and the bunk room has a heavy door that blocks out noise from the rest of the house so the kiddos can sleep.
A few things to note that may be relevant is there is no air conditioning which is common for Santa Cruz homes. There are only a few weeks out of the year it is needed but should you happen to be there during one of the few hot weeks you will feel it. Also note that the entrance is up a full flight of stairs so those with mobility challenges may need support.
Overall a super fun and comfortable stay. One of our favorites so far in Santa Cruz and we have done many.

Great Place & Location
It was perfect for our family of 3 —any more and it would start getting tight. Wonderful location within walking distance of harbor, beach, market & restaurants. If the weather is nice, plenty of room outside for entertaining. All the interior amenities you’d expect. Safe & Clean.

Great location, clean and comfortable!
Our family enjoyed the Snug Harbor property for 5 nights. It had all that we needed and then some. They thought of all the touches and things needed during a stay. The location was perfect! Thank you!

We had the best family vacation at snug harbor! The house location was so perfect! Short walk to restaurants and the beach! Our kids and dogs loved the backyard! Plenty of room for a pack and play in the bedroom! The house had everything we needed! Awesome sand toys, chairs and umbrellas! We can’t wait to come back!

Great little bungalow, scary contract from property managers
This property was a wonderful little house directly across the street from the harbor. The property was spotless! The beds comfortable, linens and towels were high end quality. The kitchen was small but very well stocked. My only issue is with the property management company which required signing a 7 page contract with a lot of very detailed restrictions and steep fines for breaking the rules. Also required was documentation from the veterinarian regarding the dog age and size, and flea treatments. The contract stipulated fines for excessive dog shedding! The stated expectation was that, upon leaving, no trace of canine occupancy would be detected. I understand that they want to protect the property but all the paperwork and verbiage was daunting. Not very “dog friendly “…

Great place!
This cute house is perfectly located for a family trip to the beach and harbor. With COVID we did take out from several local restaurants and ate in our comfortable home. We enjoyed the harbor view and beach access. Thank you!

Sanctuary at Snug Harbour
We had such a wonderful time during our 1st stay in October that we book another stay in November this year. The location is amazing, with just a very short walk to Twin Lakes beach which is our favorite. We spent our mornings looking out the windows in front at the harbor; watching all the sailboats, seals and general activity. It was simply mesmerizing. Snug Harbor gives you a feeling of home with the bonus of the hotel type amenities such as the fluffy towels and organic shampoo/conditioner. If you are thinking of staying here, don’t wait! You won’t be disappointed.

Wonderful coastal getaway
Loved the location of this house. It was so easy to check in. The beds were comfy and we enjoyed relaxing on the lounge chair in the back yard. Quick walk to the beach just a perfect location.

Lovely getaway
The pictures did not do it justice as we considered the backyard an extra "room" . The fluffy towels and great shampoo made us feel like we were at a luxury hotel. Fantastic location - can't be beat!

Great experience! Would recommend cleaning floors and under the beds a bit better. Maybe get a code or combo lock for the garage instead of one with a key. Sprinklers were on too long! Excellent view! Thank you for our stay!!

Charming beach house
Well appointed charming harbor house. Close to everything. Bikes and beach chairs included in garage. Great walking and bike paths near by. It was perfect for my husband and me with our dog. Met all of our expectations.

Not overly impressed.
Bed in master bedroom not comfortable. I think many of the ammenities are nice. Pretty small. Way over priced. Only stayed 1 night my back hurt. Front gate is rickety and bailing wire connected to a rock is concerning when you have animals or groceries in hands. Hard to open. Pretty amazing front window but overall disappointed.

Charming home and BEST location!
This home gives you the best of both worlds! You have the beach and the harbor within walking distance. So much to do in that area. They have a binder with a list of local activities, restaurants and any number you might need for your stay. Home was VERY clean and so charming! Lots of sweet touches to the decor. The windows that overlook the Harbor are wonderful. The space in the house is used perfectly with a large dinner table and comfy living room. TV's is both bedrooms and large one in the living room. Back yard had 4 different doors to access it with 3 different areas to sit and relax. Our dog loved it and we appreciated being able to bring her along so much!!! Kitchen and bathrooms had all we needed and more. They even have a full size washer and dryer in the garage! Management Co was excellent and made our stay smooth and simple! Hope we will be able to make it back! My suggestion - Don't miss out on this one!!

Great Vacation at Santa Cruz Beach
My husband and I stayed at this property for 4 nights along with our 2 dogs. The house is very cute, nicely decorated and well stocked. The Twin Lakes State Beach was only a short 5 minute walk - it's a beautiful wide beach that is dog friendly (as long as they are on a leash). There are several restaurants within walking distance - our favorite was the Seabright Brewery. The back yard was enclosed which was great for the dogs and the house is located in a very quiet neighborhood. The only sound we heard at night was the occasional sea lion bellowing in the distance. Would highly recommend this property, especially for a couple looking for a nice getaway and don't want to leave your pets behind.

Wonderful, comfortable little house
With harbor views and efficient use of space, Snug Harbor is an apt name for this rental. We loved the outdoor areas as well. The location is great and if we can, we will try very hard to come back.

The Perfect Get Away
I rented Snug Harbor for a relaxing weekend away. I really enjoyed the cozy cottage, easy walk to the boardwalk and access to the Crows Nest - especially the back deck of the Crows Nest marketplace. I brought my full size golden doodle and thankfully the marketplace and local beach were very dog friendly! Would definitely do a return visit!
