If you read the CONS (and Pros)for other people’s stay they are accurate. Check in is in a separate building which not near the main entrance. Also you have to repeatedly communicate that your valet is free then double check on your final bill. I had to contact the property owner to tell them to remove valet, which they did. Expect cleaning fees since this is not technically a hotel room.
Overall it’s a fun hotel with a great pool but very crowded but also has great beach access. The bed is comfy and the bathrooms and balcony are nice. The carpet is stained and felt a bit dirty. I would stay again but slightly adjust my expectations. Owner was very responsive to questions and concerns which was nice

This was our first VRBO so of course had so many questions along the way and Miriam patiently answered each one. The room is exactly as the pictures show and was even more spectacular in person. The owners pool was our private oasis. The resort food was 5 star no matter where we went and we took advantage of the crossfit each morning by the pool. Everyone who worked there was so nice and helpful. This room is now on our rotation for our next get away. Thank you Miriam! We'll message you with our next available dates.

An absolute gem. Lots of perks in renting this room from an owner * free valet parking, * free access to the spa * free towel and beach chair * free access to private pool on 5th floor where room is at
The Cons:
* you're charged $150 per nite for incidentals. I stayed 7 notes so I had to pay $1050 when I checked in ( I wasn't aware)
* the internet is practically non-existent so forget about doing any work
* maid service is mandatory and either $45 pday or $125 at end of trip

We came to celebrate and made it a vacation. The room was just as described with a beautiful view of the pool, and ocean. Check in was easy, though it was after 4p before we could get into the room. I would definitely stay here again!

The check in process was delayed bc of VRBO booking - told they needed to check with owner prior to check in and it took 3 times/people before we were checked in. Most staff were responsive and nice, just not sure VRBO booking was a plus or negative, especially during check in. Also, the Sorrento Tower, where our "hotel room" was located, did not have any staff at the reception so we had to check in at adjacent bldg. Some lights in bathroom were not working or flickering, iron broken, TV display low quality. Property was huge and needed to show wristband for entry to pool/property area. Not my type of property due to size and the need for wristband security check points, which also involved checking my beach bags.

Room had a nice balcony and great views, as pictured. This was my 2nd time at the Fontainebleau but 1st time in Sorrento and it was great. This particular unit was about 10 steps from the Sorrento only pool so that was wonderful. I'll definitely return.

Can never go wrong at this hotel . I’m glad the spa was fully open now since it was partially closed during covid 2020.

The property was beautiful, and right on the beach. Everything about our room was great, it was just the resort’s fees and service we did not enjoy. House keeping was $50 every other day and they only changed the towels and made the bed. There was sand in the floor the day we arrived, housekeeping never vacuumed our room when they did come. After one day of house keeping we refused their service due to the fact they left the door to our room AJAR, we told housekeeping but they didn’t seem apologetic at all, and the front service desk didn’t seem to care either.
Be prepared to pay $50 a day/night for parking, or you can save money by parking in public parking for only $20 a day down the block.
The pools are nice as long as you can find a chair, because the lounges and beds are not free.
We had fun at the beach, but the beach chairs are not included either.
Over all it was a lesson learned for us not to stay in Miami Beach, especially not at Fontainebleau.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Fontainebleau for quick romantic getaway. Our room and Host (Miriam) was nothing short of amazing!. The view from the balcony was breathtaking exactly as described in the photos. Will definitely book again❤

The view is good, room clean and the tower/rooms are away from the madness in the hotel where the club and bar is. Its a live young crowd in the hotel lobby at night. The pool and beach are great for adults. Get there early. VALET and staff are friendly.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our quick four night visit to the Fountainbleau. It was a great combination of history and modern amenities. Staying at the VRBO in the adjoining Sorento Tower, we were afforded access to all hotel property features, at a much lower cost per night. Restaurants, service, pools, spa, and workout facility were all first class. Restaurants and cocktails were pricey, but worth it for this special getaway. We will be back for sure!!

I will never use VRBO or recommend it to anyone. One of the people in our group tested positive for covid. To be safe, we wanted to cancel our trip to Miami. The customer service team and host would not allow for cancellation, partial refund or allow for rescheduling. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. It was an unnecessary headache.

We have been coming to this hotel for 11 years. It has changed in that the crowd has gotten a more pop cultural and with that comes too much pot smoking. Not only outside around the property but the hallways at night fill with the smell. It’s one big drawback for us.
We will return again because it’s our favorite vacation hotel. We just wish there would be some restrictions on smoking pot

I was a little confused on the check in process since other VRBOs do it differently but Miriam was quick to respond to my messages when asked about it. The pics are the exact room and it was very comfortable. The view was beautiful. We ate at blade as well and the sushi was very good. We definitely would return
