Louisa gave us a lovely, warm welcome. There was a little basket with snacks in the kitchen and coffee/tea, etc, which was much appreciated. The flat is perfect for 2.. we watched the sunset over windhoek from the picture windows, such a view! The bed is super comfy, the shower pressure is superb, the best shower we've had in months!. Louisa's property is within 10/15 walk of a shopping mall/good supermarket and the centre of windhoek and its in a lovely safe neighbourhood. We loved walking 2 minutes to the Heinitzburg Hotel to have sundowners on their terrace, highly recommended! The WiFi was excellent, and there is DSTV with sports and movies. The kitchen is very well equipped and everything looked almost new. This is a great place for either a short visit or a longer working stay. We loved it! Oh, and there was secure off road parking for our 2 motorcycles. Perfect!

Super nice apartment with all amenities you need for a nice self catering stay. Beautifull view over Windhoek especially at night. Beautifull garden with a patio for braii. Xlose to one of the large malls. Highly recomended. Note that the flat is located high on a hillside so you need a car or taxi or be in good physical condition if you want to walk to shops, restaurants.

No warm water tap in toilet to wash hands and face. Showerdoor cannot close properly.

Location excellent - quiet, excellent view and sunsets. Lots of trees. Sunrise view of castle beautiful! Bed very comfortable. Toaster made excellent toast! Large TV with all channels can rotate to bed and lounge. Layout of studio very nice except for shower position. Open plan kitchen very nice. We had 2 guests one evening for dinner and it was very comfortable.

No bedside table due to shower and shower leaking a bit. Tricky to sort out, but needs an ingenious solution. 2 additional softer / flatter pillows for the bed. I found the pillows too high and gave one a crick in the neck. A few more coffee cups would be nice. Some of the knives and egg lifter etc need replacing. Noisy lightening deflector on windy nights. A standing lamp or some other lamps to provide softer light when required. Perhaps a set of small drawers in the cupboard in the bedroom would be good for undies etc. Basin water tends to splash on counter and floor when washing dishes and pots etc.
