My daughter has a gymnastics meet at the local high school 10 minutes away from this location. I also wanted to host my extended family, who lives in Virginia Beach, over for an evening of pizza and fellowship. They have not seen my kids since last year. I also needed solid internet to be able to work remotely while I was here. Total party staying at the home: 5 We arrived around 11PM on check in day. The code was texted to us prior to arrival and worked as intended when we got there. Although the road it is located on is slightly busy, it is relatively quiet and we had no issues. Wifi was solid, and speedtest.net showed 110Mbps down and 16Mbps Upload. Good enough for remote work and moderate streaming. The backyard was very nice but unfortunately we did not get to utilize it much due to the rainy weather we had during our stay. I was able to host my family for an indoor reunion. Everyone had a comfortable seat and we had a good time chatting and catching up with each other. Water pressure in the shower was better than expected (THANK YOU!) and provided linens were great. Owner is responsive but note that I did not have any issues with this unit while I was there. Overall I recommend The Daisy Lynn and will likely rebook this property again next year when we come into town to visit my family in Virginia Beach. I imagine this place is AMAZING to be in during the summertime as well given its relative proximity to the beachfront.

Enjoyed our stay. Couple things were broke. We bought a new coffee pot so we could have coffee. Floors could’ve been cleaner. Close to our daughters house.

The Daisy Lynn was a nice home close to it all. The Virginia Beach Convention Center and the Beach was within walking distance. The property was clean with all the necessary amenities. I would recommend this property to families staying near Virginia Beach area.

This house is so conveniently located, just a nice quick walk to the beach or shops. The inside is nicely decorated and fit my family for a nice quick trip down to VA beach. We loved the outside as well, the grass was very plushy! Jeff was extremely easy to get ahold of and the checkout process is one of the more simple ones I have seen. We look forward to staying here again one day!

Very comfortable and great flow between living areas and dining and kitchen. We used the den as an office since we we’re working. Everyone was very comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting on the back deck. Bedrooms and bathrooms were fine. Overall a very pleasant stay. I would recommend. I will definitely rent again if we come back.

This house was set up perfectly for our needs. It was close to everything and a short distance to the beach.

We stayed here with four adults and two kids and there was plenty of space for everyone. It was a quick weekend trip so we didn’t use the kitchen but there was plenty stocked from what we could tell. The location is great and a short ride or walk to so many different restaurants and activities.

Traveling for volleyball tournaments can be hectic. This stay was amazing. We could cook our own food and when needing space we did not have to hang out in a lobby or near by coffee shop. My husband could rest without disrupting our teenager! A short walk to the beach was greatly appreciated and the backyard was lovely to sit in the sun and read!

Nice place

We rented this house for a short trip with our 3-year-old. The house had lots of space for our family and the friends we were visiting. The backyard was great, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the lower TV room was great for the kids to play in. We would absolutely recommend it! Thank you!

My family of 7 adults stayed very comfortably for several days/nights. Very charming home. Love that there was plenty of towels, pillows, and blankets. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to be able to cook many meals. Would stay again. Thank you, Jeff!

The house was clean and orderly. Very simple booking process and check in process. The backyard was very nice . The location of house was perfect and very close to all amenities. We would most definitely stay here again.

This house was perfect for a quick getaway. The location was perfect, the home was bigger than we imagined and had everything we needed. The owner was very prompt with communication. Satisfied customers, we truly enjoyed our stay

Overall great time and location.

It was a nice place in a good location close to everything, however in the ‘rooms & beds detail’ it says there are 2 queen beds in room 2. There ended up being 1 queen in that room & the other queen was considered the pull out bed in the den connected to the kitchen. With 2 people thinking they were having a room, it wasn’t pleasant especially since the bathroom downstairs has 0 outlets in it. If you want any ice, please bring it with you- the ice maker in the fridge did not work. Other than the few things mentioned above, we had a nice stay in VA Beach & made the most of it

Good local, One mile from beach. Great back yard for hanging out. Good kitchen and living space. Easy communication with Jeff.

I have to say, if my first VRBO experience is indicative of what is expected at all VRBO properties I may never rent a hotel room again (ok except for Vegas because, well, it's Vegas!). Seriously though, The Daisy Lynn was a wonderful stay. It is perfectly situated, within walking distance of the beach and restaurants and everything else in the area is just a short drive away. The pictures while accurate don't do the place justice, it's beautiful and peaceful. The check in and check out procedures were simple enough. The place was immaculate, Jeff was ALWAYS easy to reach and quick, precise and courteous to respond. We wish we could have stayed longer and should we end up in Virginia Beach VA again we hope that The Daisy Lynn will be available for renting. Jeff, thank you so much for making our first VRBO experience a great one!
