The host, Fernando, was extremely friendly and helpful. He lent me his scooter on multiple occasions, helped organise Tuktuk drivers and also a medical check up I needed. He is a very good cook, so it was like dining in a restaurant every breakfast and dinner. The rooms are and spacious and comfortable. A beautiful beach is a stone's throw away. And the property has a wonderful terrace overlooking the sea where I was able to work in peace and quiet.

It would be good to have had a water dispenser to freely use (I gave this feedback to Fernando)

The location of the hotel is good.

In the middle of the night, a sea cockroach appeared in the room and crawled onto my bed. In addition, I saw two geckos in the room.

the prettiest, most comfortable location we have stayed in plus the bed was a dream! our hosts were so helpful and welcoming, we can definitely recommend 100%!

During my short stay I felt that I was visiting my uncle’s country house. Wije is super friendly, the breakfast was rich, the garden is amazing, just 2 minutes from the endless beach and turtle conservation center. There are a few bars on the beach and you can ask for the sun bed.

Perfect place to relax! The villa/rooms are clean and have every you need. The owners are super nice and friendly - had some really nice and interesting conversations :-) he also showed us where to go to release baby Turtle. The food portion were big and tasted really good. And last but not least: Hello, to our friend Shado the house dog! 🐶 He joined us for the whole afternoon at the Main Street and beach and took care about us 😊

This is one of the most beautiful and comfortable places I've stayed in my life. Everything is perfect: room, facilities, seashore. Food is served here in a domestic local style DELICIOUS FISH AND PRAWNS.

It was freakin' perfect. The host is a great guy that will make your stay more pleasant than you can even expect. Everything is negotiable, and will be as you choose and you can have an intelligent and likeable chat if you want to. The food is beyond tasteful and everything is clean (even for a European, which is a real struggle on Sri Lanka in general). The villa is very nice, clean and have a beautiful garden.

The villa was modern and amazing, very pleasant to walk around, with picturesque courtyard. The house including my room was very clean. Beautiful terrace on the second floor with the ocean view available for all guests. Very welcoming and hospitable owners, paying attention to all your needs. Breakfast exceeded all my expectations. All kinds of exotic fruits were on the table every morning including fresh juices. Lunch and dinner were always easy to order, very well cooked, tasty, high quality and fresh seafood. Just 2 minutes on foot to the marvelous ocean beach, which was always beautiful regardless the weather. I was in 2 other hotels during my stay in Sri Lanka, but this one, Villa 252 Kosgoda, is the only one I will definitely come back to without any doubts. the house is located just two minutes away from the beach. The beach is a bit dirty, but it’s a common thing for the country as it’s not a private beach. The house itself and the host family make you feel home. The food was amazing!!!!!!

We had a wonderful stay here with excellent breakfasts and dinners. The room is big and perfectly clean. There is a lovely terrace where we relaxed after dinners. The nearby beach is almost empty and peaceful. The owners are really kind, friendly and helpful.

Our stay at the villa was great. The room is clean, large and comfortable, it has everything you need. The owner is extremely friendly, cooks excellent breakfasts and dinners, and brings juice during the day. He also organized transportation from the airport to the villa, a tour of the surrounding area with tuktuk and in the end also transportation to Galle. Altogether we would recommend the stay to anyone.

the loveliest family! just a two minute walk to the beach, and some of the best food in Sri Lanka! they were so patient with our toddler running around, and it’s on a beautiful piece of land in a perfect location! make sure to take the tuktuk tour they arrange with Fernando!

the accommodation is really clean and beautiful. the house has the balcony where you can perfectly enjoy the hot sun during the mid day sun and eat some fresh fruits. the house is near a really beautiful ocean which is also good for a swim as they are no big waves! the owners are super friendly and helpful and even picked us up from the airport and drove us to our next accommodation in tangalle and made a stop in galle. the food is really really good, we really enjoyed it. also the nice decoration 🥰 make sure to book a Tuk tuk tour with Fernando (the owners can arrange). he is really nice and can show you around the area.

everything was really perfect!

The Villa 252 exceeded all our expectations! The house and the garden are very beautiful and the rooms nice and big. The beach is only 2 minutes away and we even saw some monkeys on the way so keep your eyes open 😊. The beach itself is just gorgeous and very empty and famous for seaturtles. The guestfamily is super friendly and we always felt really welcomed and home. Breakfast and dinner are very delicious. They even made coconut roti extra for breakfast for us because we love them so much. :) Our hosts even organised a Tuktuk tour just for us that was free of charge. We visited a lovely turtle hatchery, a temple, a spice garden and a cinnamon factory. We also had the opportunity to have a late check out and got our airport drop off organised. It has been one of the best stays in Sri Lanka so far for us! Highly recommended 🤗

We enjoyed the fantastic food of chef Dulaj, calm, beautiful beach is very close to the villa- which is comfortable, clean with a paradise garden full of different plants and animals. The experienced tourist guide Vije offered a wide range of tours, one of our favourite was the river safari where we could watch the animals near at hand; fishing, turtle hatchery, herbal garden, cinnamon factory, dolphin watching etc. We had a relaxing, memorable holiday and with this lovely family we became friends :)

I highly recommend that Villa!!! The host family are very nice people ;) They can arrange anything you want. Facilities are very good. Food is the best, number one in local area! Host is a Chef by the way. They also speak English very well and can tell you many things about Sri Lanka. We are fully satisfied! (Because in Sri Lanka it’s really hard to find good place to live and eat; but with that villa you’ll be happy during your holidays) And many thanks to Fernando, tuk-tuk driver! He is very nice person, telling many good things and providing great transport service in that villa and local area ;)

This place was so wonderful that in the end we decided to prolong our stay. The location is perfect, close to the beach and just a short walk to the supermarket, so everything you need is around. The family is super helpful, anything we needed was not an issue for them. The breakfasts were amazing (we could choose between continental and Sri Lankan and though we enjoyed both, we recommend trying the local, Sri Lankan breakfast, at least once). The family also arranged a village tour for us, which we also really enjoyed. And if you ever get tired of the beach (which we doubt), you can rest in the amazing garden, which really does feel like a small oasis. Overall, this was a nice, relaxing stay, and we only hope to come back again.

Nearby The Serathon hotel, far from the rush of the highway and a two minute walk from the Indian Ocean lies a little paradise with the name Villa 252. During the lockdown Vijay (the owner) and his son Dulaj have kept the house and garden in perfect condition. It was an honour to stay here and we where treated like royals. Lovely bed, really large bathroom, good shower. Dulaj (a former chef in Dubai) and his mother prepared the most fantastic dishes and Vijay (with more than thirty years experience as a toerist driver) used his huge network to kickstart our journey in Sri Lanka. He even rented a car to pick us up from the airport witch we gladly payed for hem. We have traveled all over the world but we have rarely encountered this level of hospitality and kindnesses! A thousand times thanks!

This place is AMAZING! We definitely would like to give 11 of 10 if we could! The host Dulaj's food was fresh, very tasty, reasonable price, big portions, big variety. The beach is clean, near (about 50 metres from the villa) and empty (just a few tourists), everywhere is sand, safe for swimmers, near the villa there is a turtle farm, temple. The hosts are very friendly, helpful, do everything that people will feel like at home. The tours in Sri Lanka were perfectly organised by the host Wije. The hosts will help to order: transferring from/to the airport, other locations; massages; local fruits and home made spices. The villa is very comfortable, has a big terrace and private garden, air conditioning system, big bathrooms, big beds, very fast wifi. The villa is in the calm and quiet neighborhood. Our holiday was perfect because of the hosts and this villa! Couldn't imagine a better place to stay!

Villa 252 is utterly wonderful and faultless! I simply cannot wait to go back. Following a volunteer trip I was seeking a few days of rest and relaxation and this was delivered 100%. The villa is 1 min from a beautiful deserted beach, the gardens and local wildlife are beautiful, the bed so comfortable and villa extremely well equipped. Everything is quality. Dulaj and his family made us so feel so welcome. They were on hand to see to our every need without being intrusive. Dulaj is a talented chef which combined with the fresh local seafood is a match made in heaven. I have already booked my return trip.

Best hospitality Mr. DAJULA AND HIS FAMILY ARE GREAT HOST YHAT THEY WILL TAKE EVERY SMALL PROBLEMS OF YOURS AND MAKE YOU COMFORTABLE. DO NOT MISS THE WONDERFUL SEA FOOD DINNER WHICH IS JUST 20 USD PER PERSON BUT VERY WORTHY DELICIOUS LOBSTERS. BATHROOM IS ALMOST BIG LIKE ROOM SIZE WHICH WILL SURPRISE YOU.BEAUTIFUL garden.
