Nice hotel, professional service, amazing food

Wonderful hotel, convenient position, excellent breakfast and dinner, kind and professional staff. The best place ti visit Uppsala.

Staff were amazing. Really very helpful and kind. Free fika in the afternoon - delicious cakes. Dinner at night was really good. Location excellent next to train station.

I would have liked a fridge in my room for cold drinks but you can't have everything

We did get a gym pass to an external gym to use during the stay.

Room was quite dated, beds were not very comfy and it wasn't very clean (i don't think the tv remote has ever been cleaned). The gym area was under construction

The staff were fantastic, so friendly and helpful. The food was amazing - best meals I have had at a hotel. I could not have had a better stay.

The breakfast and dinner buffet was a plus. Much better than what you would get for the room price at other hotels.

I'm very happy with the stay which definitely exceeded my expectations. The room was simple but had everything needed. Comfortable bed and pillows. The breakfast was excellent. It was a real bonus to have the dinner included in the price as the food was really good: in addition to a soup and main course there was also a great salad bar. Fruit and hot beverages were available all day, and there was fika bread and biscuits in the afternoon. And last but not least the staff was very friendly!

Food was good, specially the items in dinner. Breakfast items are standard and I would say those were good and tasty. Location was okay, as it was nearer to the tournament hall we had to visit.

Extra charges for early check in, without prior information, despite multiple message communication is not fair. There is a big gap between check out and check in (11AM to 3 PM), which is not acceptable. I didnot understand if the room is ready then why they are charging extra for 1/2 hours early check in ?? I have never experienced this type of charges in at least 12 EU countries and also UK and US, I had visited. Charging for Car parking is really disappointing, I had been there in Clarion Varberg also, but they did not charge me for car park. Cleanliness of the room is not good due to old wooden floor without carpet, toilet seat was defective, view from window was very bad.

This was my second stay at Clarion Collection and I highly recommend it! The rooms are a decent size, comfortable, clean, and warm. The 24-hour reception service is great, and all of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great with a lot of options, and the included dinner is also excellent. The hotel bar and lobby area is also comfortable and a nice place to meet. Location is also great - only a couple of minutes walk from the main train and bus terminal, and less than 10 mins walk into the city centre. Unfortunately the sauna and gym area was undergoing renovations this time, but from my previous visit I know that's it's really nice.

I am vegetarian so there were not many options during dinner. Staff was helpful and they prepared a separate vegetarian meal but still few vegetarian options would be nice.
