Breakfast was superb , room above ours was full of creaking from their floorboards,
A little noises from the end of the alleyway at the back of the hotel which we overlooked
As we were not in the room other than to sleep the overall price was good
The view from the room , everything else was enjoyable

Beautiful building with original features. Warm and cosy with a great view of the harbour. Staff very friendly.

The restaurant was particularly good - excellent breakfast choice with extremely hardworking and friendly staff. Lunch and dinner also good and the food well cooked and delicious.
Everything as expected. No complaints.

Breakfast was really good and they had a great selection. The room was gorgeous and the views were amazing. All the staff members we spoke to were really kind and helpful.
The door to our room was a little stiff and we did have to ask someone to come help us with it one evening to get back into the room. The tags on the door keys were massive too.

good location, historic buildings and picturesque . good breakfast and service
I booked 3 rooms via Booking.com, all arrangements were roof rooms with no view, no lifts , even no hot water to shower ., can’t stand straight to take a shower or toilet.

A nice location overlooking the River Dart. The room was cosy with a large comfortable bed. This hotel is dog friendly with easy access to a park where they can run free.

Room was a pleasant surprise.
Breakfast had sufficient choice for the time of year - but toaster too often sets off the fire alarm!
Town centre location presents challenges for car parking.

Frankly everything was excellent. Room, food everything was great
The only niggle was the bar staff and waiting staff were a bit slow. I dont want to criticise as i think some of the staff were new. I would rate the staff as fair, but everything else close to perfect

Lovely historic hotel in the middle of beautiful Dartmouth. Very comfortable room, gorgeous bathroom and a delicious breakfast, what more could you ask. Excellent

The staff were fantastic especially Jessica I was given an upgrade as there was an issue with noise in my room. I was travelling on my own and they made me feel very welcomed 😁

We liked the history of the hotel and the fact that it has not been over modernised. The location was excellent.
Very disappointing that the hotel has such a problem with recruiting staff, although the staff they do have are excellent.

Absolutely beautiful Hotel with lovely staff! Centrally located and we booked a river view room that was stunning. We ate at the restaurant that night and food was amazing too....I didn't want to leave! Some great history, beautiful old building and will stay there again as soon as we come back. Can't recommend this place enough :)
The ONLY challenge was parking but it did not take away from the wondeful stay we had. Such a beautiful town and hotel
