Nice welcoming staff , good rooms.Great area to stay.

Bit noisy until around midnight, Church clock chiming and people making noise outside for a while, which is to be expected.

great location, the center of town. Easy access to restaurants, and ferry transport system. Staff friendly, and helpful. high standard of hygiene. Parking at front door., cant get closer than that.

Location was perfect. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and well appointed.

Pub was closed for most of our stay, felt a bit abandoned. Access was uo 3 flights of stairs and what seemed to be 100 doors!

Room was clean and pleasant, en suite was good. The pub itself was great, staff friendly and helpful, beer and food were good. It is a lovely old pub full of character.

The room was too warm with only a fan to help cool it. It really needed an air conditioning unit,

The Pub is affected like so many places by staff shortage which is so hard fir them Pub was closed the night we stayed but a staff member went out if her way to come and make sure we had accessed the property as we hadn’t received the e mail with entry information

noisy rooms/thin walls /doors banging closures to quick on stairs narrow staircases difficult with cases. The kitchen smells drift up into rooms .pity. its a pub so must take it into account

There were two bar staff all afternoon and all evening, as far as I could see. They were: checking in staying guests, taking drink orders, welcoming booked dining guests, taking food orders, answering queries, bringing meals to tables, clearing the tables. Not once did I see either of them falter or grumble, they both got on with it. And it was very busy, for a Monday. Absolutely outstanding.

The heating wasn't on and had to ask twice for it to go on so first night and morning was cold. Fine on second day when it came on. Internet very poor and couldn't really use it

Very clean & very well kept. Comfy bed, good shower, fridge with complimentary milk & a couple of bottles of water. super staff & the bar in the pub reflects all i’ve said above. Without doubt we will return sooner rather than later i hope.

It was no bother for us, but the stairs to the rooms are narrow & steep, so wouldn’t any good for anyone who has difficulty with your average home staircase’s.

Location was fabulous and the welcome. Room was warm and very comfortable. Lovely new shower and the bonus was a fridge with real milk in it and Miles tea, coffee and hot chocolate.
