Lage an der befahrenen Straße zum Schlafen mit offenem Fenster ist schon etwas laut…

Really friendly and helpful staff. A lovely old farmhouse. There was plenty of choice for breakfast. I stayed for a walking weekend so it was really great that there was a small fridge in the room to keep food fresh. The en-suite was recently fitted and very nicely done.

Not that I didn’t like it, but the location was a long walk back up the steep hill from the centre of town - bus service was good for local trips but the Sunday/Bank Holiday service to Totnes had only two buses out of town so I had to rearrange my schedule home. Also, there wasn’t a little pub nearby!!

A warm welcome and excellent large room. The small fridge and fresh milk was a very nice touch.

It's a 15 minute walk back up from the town centre, however that means it's away from the noise and busyness of the town too!

Walking into a small comfy lounge with couch, then into shower/W.C. area with your own central heating boiler which you were able to use when required, there is a door out to a small private courtyard, then into the bedroom with double bed. Parking just outside. Easy access to the lovely town of Dartmouth. Great place to stay whilst visitng that part of Devon, especialy as the ferry to Kingswear gives easy access to torbay.
