Noise from flat above and no noise insulation on window, and it was too hot

Room was perfect for my short stay in Dartmouth, it had everything that was necessary to make for a comfortable stay.
The location is amazing very close to the centre of town, literally a couple of minutes.
Shower was a little bit small but thats a minor inconvenience especially as it was so well priced.

The location was perfect.
I liked the coffees and teas that were available and nice touch of a packet of biscuits.
The old shower tray need a really good scrub and the skirting boards were dusty. Behind the toilet was a shelf with a very dusty dirty bottle and an old tissue behind the basin.

Perfect location, very comfortable bed, great value for money. Loved the addition of kettle and teas and that we were left to our own devices. Anyone complaining about this property needs a better grasp of what to expect with a budget room.

Bed was comfortable. Gout instructions from host by email.
The window was single glazed and you could hear EVERYTHING outside. Even the birds throughout the night. Not good for s restful night. The shower was tiny. Not good value for money, should be much cheaper for what is provided.

No breakfast involved. The room was right on a street which was quaint, but sleeping there as we found was non stop noise, it went on non stop till early hrs. Then arrived the seagulls and bin men.
The room was dirty, the carpets had not been hovered, the cups were grimy, the shower cubicle was mouldy and smelly and the shower head itself was mouldy. The toilet was quickly wiped out so was still dirty but the flash bathroom clean was left so I gave it a wiping down. Behind the freestanding electric heater was an old dirty blue t.shirt. The sheets seemed clean, although not ironed. The pillows were lumpy and very uncomfortable. There were tiny little bugs on ledge below the window sill.

Easy to locate, excellent instructions from host on how to gain access to property.
Tea / coffee provided. Nice to wake up to, biscuits were a nice addition.
Bathroom facilities adequate.
An ideal place to be based for Dartmouth & surrounding area.
An addition of a small fan would have been appreciated during this spell of extremely warm weather.

The position of the property was perfect .
We had a problem with the key but having phoned the owner it was delt with .

The property is really central, in a lovely pedestrian street with art galleries. All very close to everything you want in Dartmouth: ferries, pubs, restaurants, parks, shops.
There was nothing missing. The art gallery across the road might like to dim its lights a bit, but that's all!

Very good attention to detail and nice little touches like a packet of biscuits and conditioner in the shower. Plenty of tea and coffee. Everything you could possibly need, including an iron and ironing board. Good shower. Pristine clean. Very impressed! Excellent value for money.

17a Foss Street is in the perfect location for visiting the beautiful historic town of Dartmouth. fabulous restaurants on your doorstep, beautiful walks along the river to take in the stunning views.

centre of town many places to eat close by, location convenient for coming and going during the day . Shower working well, though overall bathroom has seen better days, bed comfortable, sheets clean. good coffee making facilities though short of milk. Wifi very good. good cupboard/wardrobe space. overall will use again in the future.
window VERY stiff, tv system very difficult to get national 5 channels, would be better using freeview!

The room, number 5, was noisy from outside as there is no double glazing and the guests in other rooms banged doors when they entered or exited and played loud music. Also some basic toiletries...shower gel, shampoo, should be provided.
