Excellent facilities

Butler service was not good. Turn down time was not undertaken, room was messy and full of dirty plates when returning to the room in the evening. Lights wouldn’t go off properly in the evening, tried calling the Butler for 30 mins no response and also no response from reception. No morning newspaper provided and room service didn’t happen until 3pm the next day. Breakfast was good (and included as part of the price I paid for the room rate) however there were lots of hidden charges linked to breakfast when checking out (which were unexpected and incorrect). I have to say I’m very disappointed in the level of service I experienced, a world class hotel supposedly prides itself on.

The location, staff and comfort were second to none. Nothing was too much for our wonderful hosts and they prepared our room beautifully for birthday celebrations.

Our room was a bit warm despite a pre-arrival request form asking about temperature preferences (but I'm splitting hairs). A bit disappointed that the ladies steam room wasn't working and one side of the hydro pool (which apparently hasn't been working for some time).

Perfect, as ordered and with an added bonus of having a bowl of fries supplied with my BLT - outstanding!

one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at, just perfect in every way, staff so lovely and nothing was too much trouble. I have nothing negative to say this hotel is a dream and my favourite in London

The staff were pleasant and helpful as they usually are.

There were quite a number of power cuts over the short time I was there. One lasted from midnight to about 5 a.m. nowhere to charge devices before my flight and no WiFi, no a.c. The water pressure was extremely low due to the same power cut I believe. For the amount of money it costs for a night that was just absurd. Upon checkout no apologies, no offer for a partial refund. In fact they still owe me money because they couldn’t complete the transaction as there was no internet. They still took £40 ‘discretionary’ charge. It was just a poor and appalling experience. I left feeling very low. Also, there was a bug in my pot of hot water that no one ever got back to me about.

A “home away from home” experience. The location is ideal and the staff were great, especially Angel at the Bar who really is a credit to the hotel by ensuring customer satisfaction with his exceptional service and great manners.

the only thing we are not ok is that the vallet parking is not so good. when we return the car to our car rental, there are all scratches around the car and we pay huge damage cost to the service. we do not take any photo before we give the car anyway but we are very confident that the scratches is not from us. everything else is perfect!
