Dirty Smelt of damp and generally filthy Got given a room that someone was already in !!!

Surprisingly very clean hotel. Very nice location away from the main road and staff are nice. Would stay again

hotel best described as tired. the entrance was very rough . broken steps etc. disabled ramp needs looking at. bathrooms roughly painted. mould type stains around tap. room freezing and heating didnt change temp. large wet patch in room near head of bed. found wire i breakfast fried egg (told staff) nothing else said. dreadful coffee in machine. strange aftertaste

Stains on carpet in room ... gross! Breakfast was sub par, there was little left (not regularly refreshed) and minimal choice.

Room was good. Didn't try the gym facilities. Breakfast was ok. Staff friendly and helpful.

Coffee was weak. No whole grain, sugar-free options for breakfast. overall the place seeed dull and lacked a spark.

In general the hotel is ok. Don't expect much for this cheap price. But everything in the room was in good condition .

The room was nice, but the smell of cigarettes in it was awful. I don't know if it is the same in all the rooms, our was the last in the corridor on the 3d floor. This horrible smell outweighed all the advantages.

At breakfast the scrambled eggs were very bad. Chopped finely and mixed with something. Scrambled eggs should be done properly or alternatively serve fried eggs.

My room was lovely. Nespresso machine, fridge, complimentary soft drinks, bathrobes & slippers, iron & board, a bath, nice toiletries, really comfy bed with plenty of pillows, good seating and tv.. really nicely presented, clean and fragrant. Really exceeded my expectations!

Almost everything was ok.

I did not put the door sign on doorknob to say on whether I was exploring or sleeping and housekeeping went into room took away towels and emptied bin and left the bed unmade and left a towel on the chair. When I returned approximately 22:00, I couldn't gain access to my room (red) and I then went down to reception and the first receptionist couldn't understand why this happened, then he reactivated the key card. I went back to the room and thats when I discovered housekeeping gain access to the room, of which they shouldn't. I lost sleeping my last night and woke up with a headache throughout the day right upto checking out at 12:00. and there after. When I went back down to reception after gaining access to room, I spoke with Jad and he told me that the reason why the card didn't work was that it could be next to my mobile phone. I was surprised by his reasoning and I doubted his claim. He ofme another room ( not that it would've made a difference)??? He said that he will speak to housekeeping manager the next day and they will give e me the reason why. I spoke to this housekeeping manager Ada? and she told me that it is all down to the reception why the key card didn't work, ad my stay was 2 nights not 1 night? Housekeeping did not want to take responsibility or accountability, in other words, shift the blame. I asked Ada? if you don't see a notice on the doorknob, you still go in and Ada? said yes after they knocked the door. Then I said, if someone is sleeping and they didn't answer, therefore they have envaded by personal space and came in uninvited.

Breakfast was good and staff reacted well to running out of bacon

The room smelt of smoke, would suggest a previous guest had been smoking in the room . Heating didn't work and the room was chilled Did report to reception when leaving.

The hotel was easy to find, the staff were very helpful and friendly and the facilities were good. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable with a good sized bathroom. We were given a welcome drink on arrival which we enjoyed in the bar area. It was handy to go into Birmingham city centre on the local train which took 10minures with free park and ride.

The chlorine levels in the jacuzzi seemed to be quite strong but when I raised this with the lady working there she said she had checked the ph levels and they were correct.

Staff were so welcoming, I’m a vegetarian and they provided me with vegetarian sausages, room was comfortable and had lots of space

The bath was really small my partner is 5 ft 6 and I am 5ft 2 and neither of us fit in the bath. Also had to pay for parking even though we were staying at the hotel

The food was great. We arrived to breakfast a little later then we hoped for and tiwards the end of the service times but there was still plenty of fresh hot food. The food always nice here. The hotel itself is always clean and fresh looking. Always smells nice and always tidy.

The staff were great but they just didnt make it clear enough what we needed to do. We sat in the restaurant for over 35 mins before we had to approach someone and ask where we order food. They said he would go to the table and take our order. They eventually come over and asked what we wanted to eat and we still haven't even seen the menu at this point. They did apologise and took our food order. Bit frustrating really, maybe short staffed but i expected more clearer instructions. The rooms are always clean and tidy but the bed in this particular room was just so uncomfortable, the mattress is clearly worn and requires replacement. The pillows were too soft for our liking too. We requested some basic items in our room and had confirmation back from the hotel but once in the room we realised the extras wasnt there. Nothing reception didnt sort out but beings we had confirmation, we expected them in the room.

Modern hotel. Lovely room...big bed and very clean.

Paying for parking. Hourly noise...woke me up. Noisy people next door at 4am! Very loud group of men in swimming pool on Sunday morning.

Location was fine for me but not great in terms of the area and approach to the hotel the hotel was not particularly clean especially lifts stairs and corridors

This hotel is a joke. There was refugees staying in the hotel. I don’t have a problem at all with this but I do when there is a security guard on 24 watch that informs you they are causing problems for guests staying on site

Tried to charge £15 for booking in half hour early. Charged for cars to be parked in their car park when it should be included in ur stay!? Bar and food expensive.
