Staff very friendly and helpful Food was good

The pool and thermal suite area was very dated with lots of mould around the tiles and it was very cold on the changing rooms for the babies.

Staff were very nice in all departments, from check-in, spa, restaurant, room servicing and the kids club - every single person we interacted with was lovely. The food at lunch and dinner was good quality and good value. The kids really enjoyed the kids club and the pool.

The pool is very small and the local users of the spa (often elderly people coming in for their own exercise in the pool) appeared permanently annoyed by the presence of hotel guests with children - that created a bit of an atmosphere (not relating to my children but was noted in relation to others). The hotel is a little tired and run-down in certain areas, with some distinctive smells in the rooms and hallways.

Lovely staff in general and the text pre-checkout is great customer service.

No negatives whatsoever.

There are 3 things that are important 1. nice room , clean and spacious . This was 2. Nice clean comfy bed. This was 3. Breakfast . (see below) The staff were so nice.

I did not like the Breakfast. It was a buffet which I don't like anyway mainly for the reasons below. The hot food was not really very good. The sausages were very pale, I like them nice and brown. The scrambled eggs I couldn't eat. The cooked tomatoes were v. good. The toaster was only browning the toast properly on one side. So breakfast 3/10. Not worth the money. The staff were really nice and courteous which makes up for a lot.

Nous étions logés dans la suite présidentielle, c'était génial! Ils ont tout préparé pour que notre arrivée soit extra - spéciale! Très propre, grands espaces, pleins de petites attentions.... incroyable! Le jacuzzi du Spa est vraiment chaud, c'est parfait Les jardins sont superbes, et la ferme très belle Le repas était délicieux! Le personnel était extraordinaire!

Le lendemain matin nous n'avons pas eu d'eau chaude à cause de travaux, la personne à l'accueil nous avait annoncé que cela prendrait 15 minutes et après 1h30 d'attente nous avons abandonné l'idée de l'eau chaude. Pas très grave, juste un peu dommage.

Staff friendliness / Spa

Coffee machines at breakfast v poor. 45 minute wait for meal in bar. Room toilet splashed out as you flushed :-( Shower shampoo / body wash dispensers ineffective and awkward to use. Door access cards needed refreshed over a 3 day stay.

Huge rooms huge bed, pet farm, the jacuzzi outside is unreal, we had the pool to ourselves at night, bus stop right outside it to go back into the city

Very rude receptionist only charged us deposit and no one else because we were young
