Perfectly situated in London for walking to the theatre

Bar and restaurants were first class. The room was first class with modern amenities.

Very minor quibble but door staff were not always the most attentive.

Layout, fresh flowers, everywhere. Great staff and restaurants. Cigar lounge in the garden after 9pm was amazing. Excellent pool and spa facilities.

AC was not great the night the weather turned. Room was hot one night made it a bit uncomfortable. They resolved it by next day.

The room was fine but it needed a fresh look. looking just a tad dated after 12 years or so

breakfast wasn’t value for money it was cold and not enough staff on. we had our breakfast and the drinks come about twenty minutes later

Prices have gone up but offering has gone down. Kerrridges was an expensive let down.

there was no chance to call the reception, concierge, reservations or operator to ask for a porter, or to extend my stay... even from the phone in the hotel room...

The room’s contemporary design and the layout.

The fact that they didn’t send anybody to clean up the room until 4 PM, for two days in a row, even though I specified that I would like my room cleaned every morning around 10AM. The breakfast didn’t rise to the standards, the poached eggs in the ‘Eggs Royale’ were raw, the brioche was average quality. The pastry was uneatable, the croissant worse than the supermarket one. As a Platinum Member of the Discovery programme I hoped for a better experience, but, when addressing the issues to the reception team, I received in exchange a condescendent smile and the gratuities removed from the final bill, instead of solving the issues. It shows me once more why the Mandarin or the Berkeley are much better choices when it comes to London accomodation. To end up on a positive note, the Velvet bar at the Corinthia was really nice and the staff knew how to rise up to the standards of a luxury bar. Also the band was outstanding.

The staff are polite, courteous, helpful. The Hotel is pure luxury
