Spacious bright apartment that had everything we needed. Great communication with host!

Wasn’t as clean & up to date as we were expecting based on the pictures. Furniture is also slightly different from the pictures too so everything could do with an update. Check in time is later than we’d hoped but we were able to leave luggage.

Die Wohnung ist in einer gute Lage mit mehreren Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe und auch ein supernettes Pub gleich um die Ecke. Die Underground in ca 15 Min gut erreichbar und der Bus quasi vor der Türe! Die Aufteilung der Zimmer war super, auch für 2 Familien gut geeignet. Die Betten sind leider nur 140 cm bzw 160 cm breit, was für uns etwas ungewohnt war. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und es war generell sauber und praktikabel. Die Zimmer straßenseitig leider wegen der Rettungsautos etwas lauter.

Jammern auf super hohem Niveau: Wir hätten uns im Badezimmer Hacken für die Badetücher und Ablagemöglichkeiten gewünscht. Aber wie gesagt: super Ausstattung ansonsten!

Nice apartment with convenient public transportation, located in Kensington. The accommodation was clean and welcoming, with a well-equipped kitchen, though the number of pots was limited. The living room was tastefully decorated with attention to detail. Be aware that the apartment has a lot of stairs, which could be a consideration for some. The apartment features a spacious master bedroom and three smaller bedrooms, each around 7-8 m² with 140 cm beds. Two of the rooms are located to the back and therefore very quiet. The mattresses were quite worn out. While the master bedroom offers plenty of space, the smaller bedrooms have limited storage, which could be inconvenient for longer stays. Depending on the number of guests , the apartment can feel more or less comfortable. There are two bathrooms of which one of them is located within the master bedroom and a separate toilette. Overall, the apartment offers good value for money by London standards.

Two days prior to our arrival, we were informed about a water damage in one of the smaller bedrooms. However, it seemed like the issue had occurred weeks earlier, as the interior surface of the wardrobe - the only available storage in that room - was peeling due to the damage. It was an unpleasant sight, though there was no longer any sign of moisture. It might be worth mentioning, that we were asked to provide a £250 cash deposit upon arrival, which led us to exchange unnecessary cash in our country of origin. In the end, the owner did not require the deposit.

There wasn’t an Italian breakfast as the advert advertised. The owner transferred 50 pounds as an apology. The beds were comfortable. The home fits 8 people comfortably.

The photos look like they have been photoshopped to remove all of the marks on the walls and in the bathrooms, and all of the cables everywhere. We were looking forward to this stat but disappointed on arrival as very run down compared to the photoshopped images. It wasn’t even the same kitchen cupboards as the advertisement.

Location was central to what we needed

It was great nothing not to like.
