The decor of the property was beautiful and the instructions and communication with the host was very friendly.
The mattresses were extremely uncomfortable , could feel every spring and the base of the bed. Evidence of the building being damp with mold appearing and wallpaper falling off the walls. If the extractor fan worked in the bathroom this would have helped.

Was an exceptional location, right beside the chester walls, very short walk to the old town.
Advertised as a bed and breakfast, but was a bed with no breakfast for the three mornings we were there. No one around to explain the reasons behind this. These breakfasts would have been included in the cost, which was on the higher end. I feel a refund would be appropriate and an explanation.

Location was excellent to the Chester town centre

The cleaning lady was nice and got us a fan.
The location was ideal.
The decor was quirky and pleasant.
The room was quite small with nowhere to sit. The chest of drawers were in need of TLC.
The bathroom was very narrow and the toilet roll holder was loose.
All night we could hear a beeping noise which turned out to be the alarm box outside our room.
Also we told the place we were aiming to get there at about 2pm. We arrived at 1.30pm and was told that it wouldn’t be ready until 2.30pm.
Lastly, we were rudely woken at 7am by scaffolding being erected outside our room.
I appreciate that this was out of their control but if they knew it may have been a possibility, they should have told us. My son who has autism was very distressed by the unexpected drilling sounds.

The beds were so comfy! I also really enjoyed the contactless entry with the key pads. I contacted Maison Claire late last week in order to ensure everything was all booked and the lady I spoke too could not be more helpful and sweet, she was lovely.

The location was fantastic, easy codes to enter properly and room.
The room had everything I needed.
The bed was very comfortable and so was the shower.
I would of preferred the towels on the bed as I am only little and struggled to reach them 😂

Room on Ground Floor as both my friend & I are disabled with walking difficulties.
Go straight ahead & turn left, to get on Northgate Rd, which leads to The Wall, The Canals and lots of shops & Eateries
Delamere Street Multistorey Car Park, entrance is opposite
Only thing I had a dislike to, was the fact it is on a very busy corner, lots of traffic, day & night.
(Windows double glazed with inside shutters, kept the noise outside, to a bare minimum)

Central to everything Chester has to offer. Nearby parking very reasonably priced. The room was spotless. Security was top notch. I would happily book again

The location was great, owner was a lovely lady and the lady who did breakfast friendly and efficient
It was very cluttered throughout, the room was average at best and overpriced for what we had. It wasn't cleaned to a very high standard, the bathroom door was dirty and wouldn't close properly, wallpaper was peeling off the ceiling, hairs on shower tiles and on ledge under the table, breakfast was not full English as no egg and again overpriced at £10 each for shop bought products. Very cold in the morning as heating is timed for midnight from what we could tell, meaning condensation over the windows and handles first thing. And the garden view was tiny and more carpark than garden.

Very welcoming, and Claire, the owner, was very hospitable, nothing was too much bother. The room was exceptionally clean with more than enough tea coffee and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was so nice and we will most certainly be returning.

The rooms are amazing just a really nice set up and they smell amazing. The beds were like sleeping on a cloud. The host was amazing the little basket for morning was amazing.
No parking however carpark is straight across the road

The Beds were very comfy, but the room was particularly small, the the pictures on the website made me think that it was larger ~I do have to add that Claire was very welcoming when we arrived.
I booked Maison Claire because I thought it was only five minutes away from Chester Racecourse,! also think for the price £250.00 for a room with a double bed and single bed was a little excessive. I booked it for ease of not having to drive home after our day out at the racecourse and although we were not in the room for long, I just felt that there wasn't a lot for the money we paid. Breakfast wasn't on offer ~
