The location was good, close to the beach, shops, cafes etc.

The apartment was filthy and had not been cleaned. There was food spilt in the fridge, food splattered on the inside and outside of the microwave. There was old, mouldy food in a kitchen cupboard. The showers were dirty inside and out. The entire apartment had very dirty walls, doors and furniture. The carpet was stained and damaged. The curtains in the main bedroom were damaged and there were no curtains in the second bedroom. The washing machine did not work. There was no toaster or jug of any kind. The customer service was non-existent. Multiple emails and messages through the Booking.com app went unanswered. The front door to the apartment did not securely close.

The TV was not working and mould on the ceiling near the windows.

great view, very roomy, comfortable beds, clean, very comfortable and everything was there, washing machine, dryer, oven, stove, microwave and heaps of kitchen items.

The size of apartment was great, beds relatively comfortable and living space good. While on a busy street it was good location and not too noisy.

The apartment was left dirty, overall it was grotty and really needs a clean and some general maintenance done. The kitchen sink leaked underneath into the cupboard, the cooking pots etc were not clean and other cleaning matters I took photos of. The pool area also looked more appealing online.

The staff were nice & location was very close to everything.

The room smelt like mould & had mould on the curtains & windows. I had to go & buy fabric spray to try & get rid of the smell just so we could sleep. The curtains need to be changed as they dont have any block out on the back anymore. Therefore we had no choice but to wake up at 5:30 every morning with the sun. Privacy wasnt every good as a contractor walked in to our room unannounced without knocking while I was in the shower. I would not accept staying in room 1504.

it’s still within walking distance of surfers CBD, Timezone and clubs and all that you need for a holiday. the staff where great, the place is big enough for a family of 4, they had Foxtel as well.

my only real complaint would be when I booked it it said level 5 to 11 for these cheaper unit, but 4 levels are underground car parks so we had level 5 but it’s the first floor so no view. ahh the balcony needs a good clean because your feet turn black in 2 seconds of being on it and have to wash them every time you go out there. 2 little things but it’s worth the money if you want budget accommodation.

Loved how big the apartment was! Plenty of room for us as a family of 4 to spread out in our long stay. The indoor pool and spa facilities were amazing for winter time!

The beds and pillows weren’t the greatest to sleep on. I would bring my own pillow next time.

Great heated indoor pool and spa with a lovely view 270 degrees from the canal to the beach. Fantastic location only two blocks from the beach and Cavill Ave. Comfortable beds, spacious apartment, great views from the living room to the beach for good sunrises. Staff was lovely, even when I got the checkout date wrong they gave me extra time to pack up. Great apartment set up with kitchen, separate bedrooms etc. Pizza place at bottom of the building below does great pizza. Good sushi train restaurant 1 min walk from building.

The cleanliness of the apartment was terrible. Floors didn’t look vacuumed and cupboards and drawers in bedrooms hadn’t been wiped out. Bathroom door had a terrible squeak every time you opened or closed it. Beds had clean sheets which was great and shower was good.

I sent through late check in requirements (driver’s licence for ID and credit card) but received no late check in/lockbox details. I was at the airport about to get on a plane for QLD and had to call and email to chase up check in details. This was disappointing and admin I didn’t need especially when boarding a plane. Other than this, the stag was great
