The hosts were amazingly helpful, they made everything so easy and gave great suggestions on what to do around the area. The breakfast was lovely and the room was very comfortable.

We highly recommend Splash Guest House! We felt so welcome that we wouldn't have mind to spend the rest of our vacation there! Transport was a breeze as Dane picked us up on arrival and dropped us off at Katsuura Station for departing to Tokyo. He also recommended some nice local spots and activities, such as biking on the coast line and seeing all of the different beaches. The room was spacious, clean, air-conditioned, had nice amenities. And to top it off, had an amazing view of the ocean. We especially enjoyed our time at the terrace viewing the ocean and listening to the relaxing sounds. All round amazing vibes, would definitely visit again!

Right on the beach and walking distance to couple good places to eat. The deck over looking the ocean was awesome. Will come again so I can take advantage of surfing and the boat rides.

Spent
April-Weekend in this cosy homely house and whole Sunday went hiking west along coastline. Owner Dane very helpful and gave plenty and usefull advices. A good feeling place

Dane is the best host you can find. He is so passionate about Japan, Kutsuura and travelers that he is always willing to help you in anything you need. He always went above and beyond.

This place is amazing! Located on Hebara beach with the most caring and passionate host I’ve ever met. For Surfers this is a must, and for everyone else, I can’t see that you would get a better stay anywhere else in this region. Supercute house with a patio overlooking the whole bay. Tidy and clean and excellent breakfast. Whats not to like?

it is an exclusive beach front location fully equipped with every marine toy you could imagine. Had a nice chat with the property owner and got to know his awesome personality and lovely family

I had a lovely Hawaiian style LomiLomi massage and I was only a couple minutes from the waves on the beach.
The bathroom for my room and the other guest room was shared, there are no en-suite rooms.

The place has everything you can dream of.
Breakfast was delicious.
Our host was very friendly and he recommended the best place to eat and visit around , and gave me surf lessons.

I like only location
Its very small room,i cannot recommend for family,toilet and bathrom shared so its not any privacy of your trip,not any facility like hotel,price is very high ,i am paying 31500 yen for one night in july month but it is not worth more the 15000 yen

It was the perfect escape from reality. Dane is an amazing host. He gave me a quick tour of the neighborhood, pointing out recommended restaurants and even helped me with my next day’s itinerary. The outdoor terrace which overlooked the beach is amazing. Wish I could have stayed longer!

The breakfast was very good. Also the location is very nice. But i feel it is little bit expensive. Other than that it was perfect.

We spend one night in this wonderful cozy guesthouse and had a great time at the surrounding beaches.
The hospitality from Dane and Madoka were extraordinary.
The Guest House is very very clean and the Hawaiian feeling is real.

The area is just amazing. Enjoyed the surf lesson - so fun!

Splash Guest house is very down to earth beachside home with a dreamy nostalgic Hawaiiana feel and decor. Everything about this place oozes surfing and surf culture. Hosts (Dane & Madoka) make you feel like “ohana” (family) from the time you arrive until they bid you aloha as you depart.
Splash Guest House does it right!

A sea view. Advise bring your beach chair and beach umbrella if you want to spend chilling out by the beach. You can also bbq until 8pm. Friendly host.
I thought it was really by the beach but you have to walk down few steps to the beach itself.
