The location of the house and the cozy comfortable bed were excellent with the caring and affectionate. Dogmar family.. We encountered multiple earthquakes during our stay due to the expected volcano explosion, but we immediately got a message from Dogmar family to not to worry saying the house is built to withstand such quakes. Great location and would surely recommend for a great stay.

Awesome location and apartment... As perfect as it looks in all the pictures, both inside and out. Many thoughtful additional extras including a welcoming 'marriage' cake. A fabulous host who was on hand for any questions and problem solving. We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights, and the balcony provides the perfect viewpoint for this. Would love to return to Iceland one day - this would definitely be top of my list for a place to stay ...

Cozy yet spacious nice clean place, stairs were manageable for my mom with limited mobility. The host Mrs Dagmar is very kind and the area is even more beautiful than I imagined. I would love to come back here one day.

Incredible location with picturesque views; very friendly and welcoming with plenty of privacy; parking was easy; beds were super comfy and there were so many small wonderful special touches like the traditional cake waiting for you upon arrival as well as farm fresh eggs in the fridge. The kitchen and amenities were perfect for cooking meals. I cannot say enough about how grateful we are for having the chance to experience Iceland from that viewpoint - Just Gorgeous very family friendly and could also be a very romantic getaway if that is what you are looking for.. Thank you! 10 PLUS stars

everything was amazing

Everything was ok, beautifull view, well cleaned flat, very kind Owner Mrs Dagmar, very friendly dog and horses. Very tasty Icelandic cake.

Beautiful grounds right at the water's edge. Stylish decor with everything you could need in a spacious open layout. Loved the spiral staircase and "mudroom" entrance where we could drop our boots, jackets, and rain gear. Amazing views that included the active volcano and the sea. Wonderful dog who accompanied us on our walks. Grateful for the delicious Happy Marriage Cake.

Beautiful surroundings. Cosy place. Dagmar was very welcoming and friendly. She was also very flexible: due to Corona, I had several changes in my booking and Dagmar was very supportive. Thank you!

Everything was good. I was disappointed that I had to leave one day earlier due to flight changes.
