Clean and nice and warm rooms all what u need in room.perfect for friends party and friends night out as hotel is above pub and we can go downst6and have fun in pub

I don't like that bathroom and toilet is for share with other rooms and separate place.

Great place ,good location, every were was spotless, staff and locals very friendly, drinks and food very good value.

The staff and Janet were very friendly couldn't do enough for you , Janet even drove us to shopping centre to save us on taxi . The Sunday roast is too die for . We'll done too every one and we will be back very soon loved it ,thanks guys x

Staff were very friendly and helpful. I used to live in this area, where I also went to school, and drink in the Old Crown so it was great to return to my roots. Parking was easy Had very good nights' sleeps.

Dislike is too strong, but Wifi didn't work in our room and also issues with the TV, although staff allowed us into the pub to use their wifi and provided refreshments. Access to the annexe was a little restricted too. As we only required somewhere to leave our luggage and sleep it was perfectly adequate.

we loved the location.....attended sheffield arena....easy to get to from the pub/hotel......Staff friendly and locals too...felt comfortable when entering.....We had sunday lunch which was cooked fresh and beautiful....room comfortable slept extremely well....shared bathroom was cleaned throughout our stay .......We would defo stay here again.

We liked having a spacious and light room with 3 beds. The beds were really comfortable and we could make tea and coffee. The room was clean and tidy and there was no disturbance from other guests or visitors. There was free parking. As food was not served after 7pm they allowed us to bring our take away and have it at the pub.

We didn't realise food was only served till 7pm.

The lady who was working there was very nice, friendly and helpful. Room was modern, same as bathroom. Everything clean. Kettle with tea and coffee in a room. Free car park.

Nothing everything was excellent

The room was lovely and clean, it looked new and freshly painted. The room was at the back of a lovely local pub and the owner a lovely, very friendly lady.

Just a warning the room is very small, and as it at back of a pub, as lovely as it is, it us busy and noisy till late and early in the morning too. The door has a frosted glass window, I believe to allow light in the room, but that made it uncomfortable to get dressed and undressed. The light outside the door was turning on every time somebody was walking passed. Maybe putting a little curtain to over the glass can solve that issue. A bedside table between the two single beds would have been useful to. The toilet shower was also tiny too.

There was nothing to dislike

When we arrived the lady behind the bar was very lovely and friendly with a big smile. She showed us to our room which was nice and clean and had everything you needed, was very fresh looking. The en suites shower was nice and big. The bed was so much comfier than I was expecting. They did contact me prior our stay to let us know there was going to be an event on until 1am. We didnt go down to the music as we was tired from a busy day, but it did sound like everybody was having great fun and a lively atmosphere!

We expected to hear the event music till 1am like we was told but the music was extremely loud in the room, but again we had been pre warned. Unfortunately we could hear every bit of noise from all the other guests, for hours after 1am, and also an alarm had been set off which was really loud also. So unfortunately didn't get much sleep at all as we was woken up and disturbed around 6.30 by other guests.

The staff was superfriendly. Breakfast was great.

Easy parking right outside, no charge. Very friendly and easy check-in. Room ready for us bang on 2.30pm. Very accommodating staff.

Erm, nothing!

We didn't get any breakfast. We were told we had booked a room only. I wasn't away of this as I didn't see an option for including breakfast when booking, and thought it was automatically included as it was advertised as a Bed & Breakfast Inn.

The room was obviously very new built into what looked like a garage block and quite damp, not sure if it was a new concrete floor. The proximity to the back of the gents toilets was a bit too close for comfort. There was no window covering on one small window and no bathroom mirror or shelf to store anything. No hairdryer. We didn't get breakfast, thought it was included? Karaoke went on til well past midnight. Appreciate it's a pub but it would have been good to know.

Location =easy to get to from M1, not far from centre of Sheffield Staff friendly and helpful Accommodation clean and comfy. Did not book breakfast so can't comment. (had to prebook breakfast)

Price a little high £85 for room only.

No food was available. We were not prompted to make an advance request when booking. The room was decent value, shared bathroom clean, staff helpful.

The room smelled of cigarettes and the sideboard by the bed had some sticky substance on it. This is the main reason for the less than glowing review.
